Broan 76F Microtek Range Hood Filter 2 Pack

These Broan filters fit our existing range hood perfectly. We kept the aluminum outer filters and simply put them in our dishwasher to clean them. Then easily attached these replacement filters to the aluminum filters and reinstalled them. Our range hood is not used that often. The original set of filters lasted 20+ years, so I thought finding replacements for such an old appliance was going to be tough. Happily, not the case. The old model numbers matched up with the new items and compatibility was identical. Very pleased!

We're still using the Broan Microtek III range hood installed in 1991, without outside venting, so it needs these filters replaced periodically. These fit and work just fine. The packaging is generic, but they appear to be genuine parts.

For the price of the backing filter set, they should also include the mesh grills; which also can become coated with grease.Why these two items are sold apart is beyond me.

I've ordered these a couple of times now, for my circa 1984 kitchen hood. I'm thrilled they still make them and are available through amazon, as I've not been able to find anything locally. Packaging is fine and filters have always arrived in a timely manner.

The original home owner didn't have the charcoal filters in the range hood and this was a perfect fit. Once you get the first one it's easier to get the second one in.

Have been used this product for over twenty years or more, The quality and density of the filter media has taken a nose dive. No resemblance to product displayed.
