This was a gift for my husband who wanted something closer to a hotel type towel. He really loves this but the reason I only gave it 3 stars is because of the washing instructions...machine wash warm, delicate cycle and tumble dry low???? Seriously? This is a towel that touches the naughty bits and should be washed in hot water and dried on the cotton setting.But germiness aside, it did come out very nicely as directed and it really is a lovely towel if you aren't OC about cooties.

It may absorb water well, but it’s actually terrible quality. The towel becomes discolored after a few washes and begins to look cheap, ratty, and embarrassing.

This towel set is dense but not heavy and fluffs out once its washed. The fabric is soft and feels nice on the skin. It's very absorbent. It was a pleasure to towel off with the large bath towel after showering. I'm a simple person so the snow white is perfect for me. I received this towel set for free to give an honest evaluation. That in no way colors my review. This is a 5 star towel set. It's priced correctly for the quality your receive.

I love huge bath towels. Due to the family using towels in ways that make them get dirty too fast, all white towels have become mine. Let's see how this set performed.WHAT IS THIS LIKE?These towels are very short in fiber. They are woven in such a way that they are the same on both sides. The ends of the towel are hemmed but there is no band of weave in it which has no fiber in it. The towel sizes are great for bath, hands, and wash towel.HOW ARE THESE PERFORMANCE WISE?These are woven in such a way that they not only dry you off quickly (and almost exfoliate gently if that makes sense) but they also dry quickly when hung up in the air after they are used. This is a GREAT feature. These are not plush towels like some that I have which make you want to wrap up and snuggle with them. This one is a bit textured- not scratchy at all- in such a way that they sort of stimulate the skin- you know you are drying off and want to move quickly to do so. The hand towel is similar and the wash towel is nice as well, although being white, I plan to dye this in the near future to cover the stains. BATH TOWEL SIZEI love the size of the bath towel. It is larger than many bath towels and wraps around nicely if you need to race from the bathroom to the bedroom etc. The other two towels are pretty standard for hand and wash towels.THE BOTTOM LINEFor a nice towel set that dries the body quickly and dries on the hook quickly afterward, this set is really nice. It is not plush, but it is not rough either, just textured to get you to dry off quickly and move on with your day.MY RATINGFive stars. I like this set. It is great when I am moving along and want to get through my shower experience quickly. I love how quickly the towels dry too. My husband keeps trying to steal it, but I told him to get his own at JCPenney. HAHA

When my set arrived, I took a second glance. Towels for the bath have a reputation of being fluffy and thick, which may imply higher absorbency. I was skeptical.I washed the set exactly as the label advises : cold/cold. The results speak for themself, and said my assumption was wrong.I absolutely LOVE the Vera Wang towel set. Where do I even begin?--The fact that they are elegantly created with Organic hypoallergenic cotton is a great beginning. There's a ground swell of consumers looking for just this thing.....including me. Some consumers have health concerns and/or allergies. Detergents and texture become a major issue. These check those boxes.--Extremely well made, ample in size, and perfectly bound to keep them looking great for years to come, with simple laundering instructions.--They are thirsty, gentle and comfy on wet and dry skin. The loops are dense, short, even, and luxurious. There is no annoying fringe, additional tags, etc. The nubby loops make drying a breeze, invigorating the skin without harsh rubbing which dries it out.--Gorgeous right out of the dryer without annoying wrinkles or excessive twisting of the bound edges. They require less room in the linen closet since they are thinner. My dryer thanked me when I went to clean the lint filter. Thinner towels give off a considerably less lint. The benefits keep on coming.In conclusion, this premium towel set comes with a premium price, but I see nothing that would make me believe they will not last a lot longer than the lesser priced towels. I LOVE them and would recommend them to others looking for high quality, organic 100% cotton towels.

The towels in this set are thin & dense but soft. They are 100% cotton, they feel great on the skin & dry well but they aren't "fluffy" if that is what you are into. They have a pilled texture & the two smaller towels seem to have a different texture on the front & back.I prefer a heavier bath towel but my wife really likes this set. She was also impressed by the stitching on the edges which is something I wouldn't have noticed & wouldn't have been able to associate with quality.

We've tried a LOT of towels and I don't like having the ~1-2" strip on a towel - it's not for comfort so why have it... This towel doesnt... also love it's absorption, normal air drying time (opposed to bamboo - forever!) the size, style and exfoliation. Its just the best.

These towels are thick and thirsty not flimsey at all. They are large and very nice. Made in India, but they are organic cotton, very soft to the touch even before washing. I believe they will last a very long time.

Quality ok a few pulls here and there but not the colour at all that I was expecting... even given colour differences on the internet the colour was described as aquamarine but is in fact better listed as grey simply grey!!OK but since they are from US it would be difficult to return them I will just have to use them when no one else is around Would not buy towels from amazon again.
