FA Edmunds Plastic Tension KNOB 4/PKG, Black

I like the fact they are easy to tighten for the elderly. I used them on my cross stitch frame. Being larger than the normal wing nuts make it so much easier to tighten the holder.

So easy to adjust my frame with these with my arthritis. Can't do without them!

The FA Edmunds embroidery frame stand came equipped with several of these knobs and wing nuts. I have now replaced all of the wing nuts with these triangle shaped knobs. They are easier to lossen and tighten than the wing nuts which tend to hurt my fingers. I recommend these knobs. For the stand, be sure to get these triangle snaped knobs (phote 1 &2). The other more circular shaped knobs (picture #3) only fit the embroidery frame bolts, which have a little larger circumference.

My husband bought me a craft needle craft stand for my birthday. For those who embroider or cross stich well know, the work must be moved constantly as you work the piece on a hoop or scroll. My poor hands are inflicted with RA, and traditional loosening an tightening of screws that come with most craft stands are very hard on my hands, making it less joyful of an experience to sit and work my embroider or cross stich piece. These knobs are perfect!! Not only can I tighten and loosen them easily, even on a really bad 'hand hurt' day, but I can do it without having to bug my husband to come and loosen or tighten them up for me. I didn't think it would make that big of a difference in how I used my craft stand...but boy was I wrong! I absolutely love them and don't know how I got along without them for so long! A great buy at a great price!

I gave it a low review as I couldn't use it on the loom that I purchased. The screws on the loom were larger than the knobs on this set. I would have liked to be able to use them but it just didn't work out. The seller was very easy to work with in the return. It took a while but that was ok with me.

These tension handles are perfect and just what I was looking for. The only reason I give it 4 stars is the delivery time. It took over a month for them to arrive. Otherwise great product!

I bought a F.A. Edmunds Multiple Size Cross Stitch Scroll Frame Set but the wing nuts were so hard to use. They loosened up as I worked and pinched my fingers when I tightened them. These replacement knobs are great! They do not loosen up, they are easy to turn, and were super easy to install. I just wish the frame already included them, instead of having to purchase them separately.

These knobs are so much easier to use than the original metal screws that come with embroidery scroll frames. All I have to do is place the knobs on the frame posts and easily turn one way to tighten and the opposite way to loosen. The block knobs do not scratch wood surfaces like original metal ones do. They fit all the frames that I have, and the fabric stays in place. I am very pleased. with this purchase.
