Super easy to install my cats love it. They can now go out onto the screen porch anytime they want!

This is an excellent pet door. We bought it for our cat so he can get to his catio without us opening the door for him. I bought it a while ago but then winter and it was too cold to have the door off to install it. Our handyman installed it for us and it was easy peasy. It took a couple of lessons for the cat to “get it” but now he is in and out all the time. When it’s cold we insert the security door and it fits snugly. Very happy with it.

The media could not be loaded. The directions were not straight forward as they were meant for multiple size doors but once we paired the size we had to the correct template it moved quickly. We didnt get a final picture but it set in the door nicely and is easy to use. This unit has the security door that slides in to lock it.

Everything about this doggy door is great, however it does come with plastic screws which are pretty flimsy so you need to be careful when screwing them in. I used a screw driver and the head of the screw broke. Other than that it works as intended.

Great construction. Perfect in every aspect. You will be happy with this.Never buy the plastic ones. Cheap looking. Cheap everything. I had one from the same manufacturer. Is is now in the landfill.

As a kennel owner, I have used several different doggy doors. Trust me when I say that this one with an aluminum frame is the best! My Australian Cattle Dogs will destroy any door that has a plastic frame, but this one is Cattle Dog tough!

Purchased both the Extreme Weather Efficient Door (for exterior door from garage) and the Pet Safe Freedom Aluminum Pet Door (from laundry room into garage). Both have excellent and clear instructions. They are well made and fit tightly. And have a panel you can insert or snap on (depending on the door) if you want to block them. I was a little concerned about the nylon screws, but they didn't strip. I did shear the head off one of the ones on the Freedom Door from over tightening, but I called PetSafe and they are sending a replacement. Highly recommended. I have installed a variety of pet door in other houses and these are the best I've seen. They nicely cover the core of the door too.Comment: When cutting your door, if it is not wood, use a long blade (for metal) in your jigsaw. My doors are fiberglass and insulation (one was a fire door, the other an exterior door). I melted my old wood blade half way through my first door and had to run to the hardware store where I found the Bosch T3218F3 T-shank blade. It worked a whole lot better. My doors are 1-3/4" thick and the longer blade is needed. Probably available on Amazon too.

Nice aluminum framed doggy door. Medium size for our 15 lb. pooch. This is a custom door and it looks & works perfectly.
