Great stick
I was a nationally-ranked and competitive junior and college player. I always played with some version of the Wilson Pro Staff. Beat-up body and new-born don't allow for much tennis anymore (I'm a 5.5 who should really be rated a 4.5); but, this stick makes me feel several years younger: it's light, serves great, and gives me much more power than the Pro Staffs. It came strung in the middle (55 lbs.), so my ground strokes tend to fly a bit. When it's time for a new string job, I'll string it at the upper-end of the recommended specs. (57-58 lbs.). It's a perfect racket for anyone looking for more pop and good feel

Great feel, Great value — New favorite for me & my son
I really like the feel of this racket. I did add a wider dampener from 21kSports but nothing else. My wife finds it a little heavy overall, and I agree it is head heavy compared to an entry model Head Radical (which is a bit lighter & more balanced) that we also play with, yet I prefer this Microgel Radical model. I feel like a little weight in the head helps the racquet do some of the work for me & lessens some vibration (and the wider dampener helps too). I like the balance, or middle ground, in the way this racquet performs—a blend of control & power. The stock grips are supple with plenty of tackiness & absorption—and, I tend to sweat a lot. I researched a lot before purchasing a couple of these, and I’m very pleased. One of my sons also prefers this racquet now to any other we’ve tried, and I saw some immediate improvement in his progress as a result. Gear isn’t the most important part of playing ball, but just feeling good about it—being comfortable enough to forget about the gear I think—helps us to just play & find more enjoyment in the sport as a result. I think we have found some of that with this racquet which, while being a bit pricey compared to a $15-25 racquet, still delivers a lot of value without costing us $200+ per racquet. If you’re worried about the head-heavy weighting, you might use the Crossfit style wrist wraps like I do (also helps with previous wrist trauma) which I also recommend (WOD Wear wraps or Strength Wraps) for HIIT workouts, ring exercises, calisthenics or heavy weights, & even muay thai or boxing workouts).

I've always loved this model
I've always loved this model. There's no reason for anyone below the level of professional to spend more. Tremendous feel and what the pros call plow-through. The gut style strings are so great, leaving real flexibility in your game. You won't be just one more young clone who is hitting as much spin as possible, and thereby missing half your shots.

Good fit for this 3.5 player
Bought this after being told by my coach that my old racket was too large. I'm finding that I have better control than I had before. I've been using it 1-2 times/week for 3 months and haven't had any issues even though it's taken an occasional hit on the surface of the court. Strings are holding up well too. I'm a 3.5 level player.

Great Racquet for an Intermediate Player
Never playing on a very high level but burning through 4 or 5 racquets over the past decade or so I can tell you this is my favorite that I have owned. Going from an older Head racquet to this one the increase in power was very notable. I'd say roughly 10-15% more power with the upgrade. Accuracy has also improved to a degree. This is a bigger grip than I had before so backhand accuracy suffered a bit at first but after playing a month or so but now is comfortable. I also like the stock grip that came with the product. Recommended for sure.

Cracked the neck
The racket is 4 months old... and the neck cracked. This is actually the second Head Radical MP that the neck has cracked on us. The first one lasted almost a year. I'm going to be looking for something better. The obvious thing to say is that it's racket abuse, but that usually doesn't happen in the neck.. The frame is what goes with abuse.

the worst racquet ever!
after all these rave reviews and being the cheapest racquet on the market, (although to me 90 bucks for just a racquet is quite much) i decided to buy this. i had gotten a oversize head of the same model which felt way outta control. so i decided to get this. to my surprise, it still feels the same. no control, too much power, feels stiff and uncomfortable, just overall a mess. waste of money. DO NOT BUY THIS! meanwhile im stuck with this racquet trying to make do and get the best out of it.

Great Racquet - Great Price
This is a great racquet for a beginner and more! I purchased this a little over a year ago when I began taking lessons and my coach totally approved - said it was great and had really good tension, fit my grip well. Be sure to measure first before you purchase- it’s really importantly that it’s not to thick or too thin!Fast forward to now, and it’s still in good condition. I haven’t had to re-string or wrap it (and this is according to my coach as well). I played all year long 2-4 days a week and will continue to use this racquet (and as long as it does the job)!

Excellent racket
Excellent racket. My game improved on day 1 itself. I have been playing with a cosco racket for 3 months. It's was a great value for money racket but I wanted to try a better racket. After a lot of research I bought this one and I was not disappointed. My game has improved and it feels better to play with this one. I have played with this for couple of weeks.

Great mid-range racket
There is a middle ground between $40 rackets and $250+ rackets... and this Head fills the bill very well. Great grip, nice balance, and it looks good on the court, too. Bravo!
