Replacement Comb works perfectly
I thought that I would have to throw my beard trimmer away when two of the comb teeth broke - and it was a fairly old razor. No need to condemn it to the landfill (and NiCad recycling) yet! This perfect replacement part saved the day, my razor - and some money! Great buy!

Fits perfect, though the design is still flawed... but at last you can replace that damaged/broken guide comb.
BOTTOM LINE: Perfect fit for the damaged guide comb on my trimmer. It's unfortunate that the R&D guys at Remington still haven't improved the flimsy, somewhat-lacking design... but this is a replacement, not an alternative/upgrade attachment. Works good and no more scratches while thinning down my beard. 4 STARS.THOUGHTS: I wish the material for this thing was about 1mm thicker all around. I also hate that the spines are not connected at the peak. My old (20+ years) Remington trimmer had a rotary-adjusted guide (a band that twisted left & right, rather than a dial that adjusts up & down), and the plastic material for that guide/comb was a little softer (not as brittle) and, most importantly, the comb teeth were NOT separated. The unconnected design at the peak of the teeth on this trimmer's comb makes it too easy for them to shift or flex while shaving, sometimes taking off more than you want/intend. But it is what it is. At least I can use my trimmer again with a fully intact comb/guide that isn't missing teeth and digs into my face (Ouch!).

Great find to keep my old trimmer working like new.
The original guard on my Remington trimmer had broken all of the teeth out of it and it made trimming my beard sketchy at best. On a whim I searches and low and behold Amazon had this waiting for me to find it. Ordered it thinking that it wouldn't be correct and I would have to return it. I was at first very happy that it looked correct. Then when it slipped on perfectly and allowed me to trim my beard like a new trimmer again I was very happy. Thanks for making replacement parts and not a disposable item.
