Mikki Dog, Puppy Grooming Undercoat Rake - Dematting Tool Removes Matts - for Medium Coats

Own a crazy pomsky. Teaching her to be brushed every day. This rake is excellent for all over brushing. Easy to grip and get to her trousers and chest. Nice size. Easy to use on the various depths of her coat. Obviously care is needed to not rake too hard. I don’t think I could have found better. 5 stars 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

This is the best comb/rake I've found so far that both my kitties will accept and it really does the trick of removing a lot of loose undercoat that a brush would never catch. You might need a regular steel tine comb to remove loose hair once you've run this through their coats but it certainly is most easily tolerated by my very sensitive girl who hates being combed as the tines are very blunt ended. It's really sturdy and the handle being perpendicular to the head makes it easier to manipulate across their bellies as well as back and sides. Was at first worried about spending this much on a comb after buying a bajillion other, less accepted items but I don't regret it at all now. Highly recommended. I bought i 4 months ago so it's not a "Oh I just got this, wow" review but based on experience of using it as regularly as they'll allow me!

I've really struggled to find grooming tools that are suitable for my long haired, and extremely fluffy cat. She either won't tolerate them, or they simply won't cope with her dense fur. This is one of the few tools that she will allow me to use on her. The longer pins don't snag in her fur, and the smaller head is perfect for grooming all areas. It's no good for removing matts, or even small knots though. That requires what I refer to as the 'wolverine' - if you've seen one you'll know what I'm referring to.

I had an adult one of these for my Retriever which was brilliant but unfortunately I lost it and cannot find anywhere to replace it so had to get the puppy one. Ideal for long haired puppies but doesn't really work for an adult as it's too small. Not sure why they stopped making the adult one, such a shame.

Works for my husky perfectly

Not quite as good as I had hoped seems to leave lots of loose hair in my cat's coat, then use another comb but not too bad for the matts.

The only rake that works on my husky. All the others I’ve tried have snagged his coat. Yeah he still hates being brushed, but at least he tolerates this one

this is a comfortable comb that doesn't pull to much on my dogs hair and removes a good amount from her undercoat.
