Kwik Sew K3897 Overalls Sewing Pattern, Size XS-S-M-L-XL

I haven’t had time to make these yet, but the instructions seem fairly easy to follow.

for some reason, across the internet, this was the only overalls pattern i could find, which i thought very strange (other than kids' clothes) but the instructions were great and the pattern was simple enough. i did have to tailor it a little bit as i wanted it to hug my legs more than this does as-is, and as for running large, i'd say it's only sort of true? i just made an extra large because you can always take things in, and it worked for what i needed, but i don't know about the smaller sizes. i wouldn't call it comically huge or anything, it fit how i thought an XL would. it may be just because this is a very straight leg, wear-over-clothes type real "over" "alls" pattern where if you want it tighter on you, then go smaller or just tailor it once it's doneone thing though, i wish the instructions on how to install the buttons and buckles were clearer. everything about sewing the pieces together were fine, but then it was just like, "then add buttons," which doesn't work for someone like me who is not an avid sewer. the buckles i had a different plan for from the beginning, but the buttons, i kind of wish i could've done those better (and probably will fix it in the future). i ended up running low on time so i just finagled with whatever temporary closures i could. i'm most likely going to be installing snaps, but i'll just have to see.

Simple pattern, altho I wish the pieces were numbered as in other patterns. The pattern was what I needed and arrived at the proper time.

If you like to garden, sew, and save money (like my wife does) this pattern was made to order for you.

I haven't gotten to use this pattern yet, but I have opened it and I like the easy to see and follow instructions. I am giving it a four star for it took over two week for it to arrive. This is the first time that has happened with anything that I have order through Amazon, and it did finally arrive. I bought this and it was supposed to arrive two days later, but much to my surprise it did not. But the pattern itself is easy to understand and printed very clearly. Will update when I get to use it and let you know how well it all goes together. It comes in all the sizes and easy to see what line goes with which size.
