Little Bear - Rainy Day Tales [VHS]

Boyght 5his as a gift, it came timely, wrapped. I havent heard anything negative about it being defective. You cant go wrong with charming Little Bear movies

Old cartoon but a good cartoon

We love Little Bear so much that we got this DVD so little bit could watch it without ads. She loves the show, I love how chill it is, and she has even learned a few vocabulary words from the show that we don't really use in daily life but are great words to know nonetheless!

Simple for viewing. Not all the over computer simulation we have now. Easy on the senses.

This came at a great price! I can stream this from Prime, but like having a hard copy for when our internet is giving us issues or to send to the babysitter. My 21 month old LOVES Little Bear. Nothing captures his attention quite like this program. I love how kind and gentle the story line and characters are. The music is beautiful and enjoyable - not just for him but for the parents. We do limit his television intake. This is a nice option because the episodes are only 7 minutes in length. If he is not feeling well, we can easily let the whole DVD just play out. You really don't get a lot of episodes which is why I've only purchased a couple of the DVDs. It's sometimes more affordable to purchase the streaming version of an entire season. Do remember that to access the additional episodes, you have to continue to click through more to find them. Those do not play in succession. You have to choose them individually. Not a big issue, but annoying if you're driving and the only one who can control the DVD player.

Well like the other reviewers we love this DVD at our house. My 2.5 year old daughter asks for it over and over, and her older cousins like to watch it at our house, too. Each tale involves rain in some way but it's a nice variety of characters and story lines and holds my daughter's attention the whole time. We did not like Little Bear - Little Bear's Band (see my review of it for details) or The Little Bear Movie (a few parts were too scary) as much as Rainy Day Tales. As a mother of two in a small apartment, what the kids watch over and over, I watch over and over, and I'm very happy to have found a DVD that does not get on my nerves, no matter how much it's played. In fact, I even enjoy it.
