Its nice and big. My only complaint is that it stretched alot more than we expected. We had to really improvise when tying the ends so that butts didn't touch the ground.UPDATEI would downgrade this item from 3 stars to 1 star due to the canvas ropes breaking with about 300 pounds which was 2 individuals in it. It states it holds 450 pounds. We have not owned it that long and this should not have happened.

When I received my new hammock, I knew instantly that I HAD to write a review. I had to tell the world just how amazing it is. It's not only gorgeous but so extremely comfortable and durable. It help my friend and I with ease. The ropes are strong and sturdy and all of the hardware was well made and flawless.It's a high strength steel hammock stand and it took my husband approximately 10 min to set it up from start to finish. It can hold up to 450 POUNDS!!! It has 18 hand made, natural ropes made of 100% cotton. It's rust resistant and you can adjust the height by the chain. That to me is astonishing. It's super simple to assemble and light enough to move but not blow away.The bed measures 78 x 54 inches with a total length of 118 inches. It can hold two adults very comfortably. It even included a carrying case. The material of the hammock is so soft and so extremely relaxing to lay in and watch the kids plan and get a nice sun tan. It's top quality when it comes to durability and comfort. Overall, I HIGHLY recommend this hammock to anyone who needs a little relaxation and getaway in their own backyard. Not to mention it just looks awesome in your yard! It really is so comfortable, almost like floating in a cloud. Great hammock!!!!

I have been looking forward to owning a hammock forever. I ordered this one because of its reviews, size, and weight limit (I am well under the listed 450 lbs. limit and wanted to be careful). After one use, one of the screws broke. After taking forever to get the broken part out and replaced, one of the bars bent beyond repair. This product is made out of terrible materials and is not worth the time and money that I had put into it. All I wanted was a hammock.

Basically a good product. My only disappointment with it is less about it, and more about my failure to fully appreciate how this style of hammock differs from the type I'm used to using, they type made of Duracord, with spreader bars at each end. This sort of hammock really envelops you (sort of like a banana in a banana skin), and because of the design both your head and calves/feet re sharply angled upward at each end. This doesn't feel comfortable to me, and is a style that doesn't work well with my not-so-happy back. I find the Duracord/spreader bar-style way, way more comfortable--you're much closer to being horizontal. Also, there is a huge, huge difference between a double Duracord/spreader bar-style hammock and this hammock. We find it next to impossible to get two people into this hammock, and when we do, it's really uncomfortable. Just look at the picture of the hammock and--at least now--I see why that's sort of obvious. On the other hand, I have always found a double Duracord/spreader bar-style hammock to be very roomy--definitely roomy enough for two full-size adults. So this is a mixed bag for me. If you know what you're getting here, and this is what you want, I recommend it. But I made a mistake in getting it; it isn't what I need or want.

I was skeptical with this purchase as it was an end of season lightening deal and seemed too good to be true. However, I absolutely love it!Pros: hammock and stand for a great price, decent quality fabric in both color and weave, easily detachable so it doesn't sit out in elements, large size hammock that you can settle down into without feeling like you're about to be dumped over, storage bag for overwintering / transport, easy assembly, very comfortable. Heavy / thin - tall / short; this hammock is definitely a one size fits all; everyone in my family has tried it. 90 to 230 lbs - 4'11" to 6'4"Cons: My biggest issue is the location of the bolts across the bottom. They're hard plastic discs on top of metal threads, which could easily break considering location, and the unit literally rests on top of them, making it clunk from side to side with even the slightest movement. I've put 1/2" boards under all four feet and this has eliminated the problem. I do have it sitting on a cement porch and not the grass. With the way the bolts jut out I figured they would become caked in dirt and possibly break, making them almost impossible to remove for disassembly / for the overall stability of the unit. Also, the locations of the hammock settings (how low you want to be / how tight you want the hammock to be) are limited, and it does hang very low because it is so long, and this can cause the ropes to rub against the backside of the positioning hooks if you aren't centered properly.Even at regular price this unit is well worth it, and I plan on buying another one as my husband and I both enjoy it. You would be hard pressed to find just the stand for the price I paid, (about $10 off) so to get the stand and a decent hammock was a huge score in my opinion, and I LOVE it!

This hammock is beautiful, sturdy, and so comfortable! Really easy to assemble, and transport. I love it! My kids keep taking before I can get to it We have all 4 gotten into it at the same time and it worked with no problem. So nice to relax in. Great price. So glad I finally got one, with I had gotten it sooner!
