Worked Great
After the big storm hit Houston a friend could not get her generator to work. I loaned her mine and took hers home with me and ordered this kit. Slapped it on today and it fired right up.

GREAT VALUE
High quality, varied parts for different choke applications. Filter, sparkplug and carburetor included. Some instructions for changing the choke lever would have been nice.

No instructions, most parts fit
The carb fit ok, there are no instructions. Had to drill out the keeper to fit the throttle linkage. Swap the choke linkage. The included spark plug did not fit my Troy Built 5550 generator. Did not use the fuel shut off valve or install the inline fuel filter. Air filter fit fine. Started on the 1st pull, runs great. 5 stars if the plug fit. Great price.

The carburetor was for a newer model engine than mine, but I made it work without too much trouble.

choke lever fits, needs throttle customization
no instruction comes with the carb, comes with a choke lever that fits my Generac generator, the throttle fitting however, was too high, and the hole for the control rod was too small, needed some customization.after installation, the engine started on first pull and runs well
