Non-Ticking Hands Quartz DIY Wall Clock Movement Mechanism DIY Repair Parts Replacement with 3 Different Pairs of Hands (1/4 Inch Shaft Length)

This clock said "Made in England", which unusual & it has my family name on it. When the clock movement became erratic, I didn't want to get rid of it. I have never thought about replacing the clock parts on a wall clock, but of course Amazon had a million. I did order one with no hands. It measured perfectly with the original, so for $6 or $7, I thought why not. But my original hands didn't fit. I would recommend getting one with a variety of hands. Installed in about 5 minutes and even has a second hand that the original didn't have. As far as accuracy, don't know yet, but it has worked for an hour or so just fine! I also like that this one is a "No-Ticking" clock.Follow up; it's been several weeks and it keeps perfect time. The second hand is perfectly synced with my a phone.

I used this to replace a wall clock motor that was running too fast. It was very easy to install, the whole process took less than 5 min. It is nice to have three sets of hands so you have the right length to fit the face of your clock. The silent second hand (no ticking) is a nice feature. After three days it’s still keeping perfect time. Be sure to measure the shaft length needed so you get a Goldilocks fit (not too long, not too short, but just right). I would definitely buy this product again if needed, but expect this to keep on working flawlessly for a long time.

I had to replace the clock mechanism for my 48-year-old Dark Side of the Moon rock clock. The white hands were an exact match, as the original hands from the older clockwork could not be reused. The mounting and assembly instructions are provided and are simple and basic. However. the shaft length is listed as 1/4", and the record is 1/8" thick. There is a plastic washer that acts as a buffer between the back of the record and the face of the clock mechanism. The thickness of this washer is just less than 1/8", allowing just enough thread through the clock face for the front nut to thread on to. There is no on off switch, so if you need accuracy to the second, timing when installing the battery is the only way to achieve that. The movement of the second hand is smooth and continuous, with no jerky ticking motion. Though I rated accuracy at 4 stars, the clock has only been running for twenty hours, but so far, so good

This is the right one for the clock. So far so good. It is easy to set up. The price is good.

The thread length is NOT 1/4" (6mm) as shown in the images and product specifications. It is a hair under 3/16" (about 4.5mm). So I'm not sure if this one was defective or whether their toolings/measurements are off, but unfortunately for me the 1/16" error was just enough that it won't fit into my clock.

This quartz clock mechanism brough new life to a wall clock that I received as a 10 anniversary gift from one of my employers some years ago. The one set of hands was nearly identical to the original hour/minute/second hands. The specifications in the description matched the geometry of the wall clock quite well. The only difference is that the new mechanism does not tick.
