Works for boat vinyl
Worked great fixing a small cut in my vinyl boat seats. The tear is not in the most noticeable spot as it is........but that being said its very unnoticeable. Would recommend.

Works very well
I bought this Tear-Aid Vinyl Seat Repair Kit this to patch a tear in the seat cushion of a cheap office chair. The box contained one fairly long sheet of Tear-Aid and two alcohol pads for pre-cleaning the area to be patched. As you can see from the photo I've included, the chair had already lost some of it's cover, but I still applied the Tear-Aid over it to prevent further tearing. The Tear-Aid patch is visible, so no matter what sort of tear you're patching you are going to see the patch when it's been applied. However, once this patch material is on it isn't going anywhere. It does conform itself to the contours of the object being patched and adheres permanently, so be sure to position it where you want it to be before peeling off the backing & applying it.It may not be very appealing visually, but it does the job it says it will do and will help prolong the life of the item being patched. I would give it five stars for its ability to do what it claims to do, but I felt I had to give it only four because there isn't much product in the box for its price point.

Good seal on boat vinyl.
I used this on some small tears on my boat seats. The patches went on easily, and have stayed on. But I probably should have used non-see through patches. This will prevent any further tearing, but the I couldn't put the edges close enough to fully hide the tear.

This works
Our 2019 can am is used for farm work, as we all know indefinitely that seat is going to tear. I tried this product on small slits to a quarter size hole, so far so good it's been 2 months the patches have held up in the warm weather and now in the cold. Easy to use just cut it peal and stick. Very happy with the product.

Too expensive for what you get
Almost $14 for one lousy strip?? Yes…I somehow missed that in description. Too highly priced when I can get another product I know will work likely just as well or maybe better. I don’t care how good it supposedly is. One strip would only barely cover a tear on one of my ten year old sling back patio chairs. I’d have to buy three or four of these…too much $$. If you have something worthy of a really good, costly patch (which maybe this is) like a small tear on a vinyl couch or something, maybe this is worth it. Looks like it might work. But not for me.I always look for products made in U.S…but come on. Price gouging.Buying a roll of Gorilla tape instead, which I should have done in the first place. My money these days goes to companies worthy of it, and who don’t unreasonably overprice their products (good luck with that now). And besides, I’ll get an entire roll, more available if patch doesn’t last long enough. Nothing lasts long in this challenging environment in the South.

Waste of Money
Got this to repair the pleather seat in my 2017 Subaru Outback. Works great for about a day, then peels off. Don’t waist your money.

Easy to Work With but Adhesion Could be Better
I've used this in both of my boats because I like how the patch flexes with the cushions; however, I do feel like I am constantly running my hand over it to make sure it stays applied. So far none of the patches have fully come off, but I'm curious as to how long they will last. So far one set was applied back in May and is holding on so even if I only get a year out of the patches, it's worth it to me. They are a little thick which is a good thing but you will definitely notice that they are there. I will take utility over appearance any day when it comes to something like this so for now, I'm pleased. A little pricey, but I will probably buy again if needed.
