Q: For what gauge wire are these intended?

This cap is for 16 to 20 gauge wire, and is not to be used with voltage exceeding 24 VAC.

Q: do you offer a cap that will accmodate a 14 to 12 guage wire size?

These caps likely will not work with that gauge of wire, as the wire is too thick.

Q: what is the grease cap for? I don’t see one on my current system.

The grease caps are used to waterproof the the wires. You screw the wires into the orange cap then you stick the orange cap into the grease cap then close the grease cap with wires extending from each end. The grease caps are not necessary but they are another level of protections for the wires.

Q: What is the size of grease cap tube diameter & height. do not include the square base

The tube itself is 2.25" long, with a 0.5" diameter.
