Don't be like me and get a Surface Pro and then use it for a year without a cover like this. I remember seeing this product back when I first bought my Surface Pro. I don't know how I justified not getting it at that point. Recently it was getting scratched up so I relented and bought this. Little did I know I was in for an amazing surprise...That annoying gap between the stand and the bottom edge of the tablet, while not an issue when using it stationary on a desk, is incredibly annoying to deal with on my lap. It also sometimes closes by accident if I slide the device across the desk too quickly causing the device to fall onto the desk. Furthermore, it makes carrying the device with the keyboard attached and the device remain open a little cumbersome with my hand nestled within that gap, especially if I am trying to type on the keyboard while holding it this way, one handed--not the most stable of hand-holds.I don't know if others have to use their devices this way that much, but I carry it and type on it in this fashion while moving room-to-room at my work 8hrs a day.Enter this pretty-sturdy-seeming case...Lo and behold that stupid gap is gone. The long flat underside flap is perfect. Carrying it, placing it on (now any) surfaces, typing on it one handed, sliding it across surfaces, all work flawlessly just like a regular laptop would. The daily frustration this thing is going to save me is priceless. Not to mention it looks pretty slick. Thanks for a great product.Not sure yet about the durability since I just opened it, but seems to be of decent quality.Oh yea and it definitely will protect from scratches since the device no longer directly contacts anything except the inside of the case.TL:DR - Just get it. Or get one like it. Don't second guess. A cover like this is a necessity for a Surface Pro if you carry it around with the kickstand open, ever.

This case has a remarkable professionsl feel. I hesitated using my surface until I got a cover for it ; my appliance is pristine, and I vowed to maintain that appearance. I have surface pro5, an older model running win10, and it exceeds my needs without a win11 upgrade. This case is well made, very businesslike in appearance, provides excellent protection and coverage, with its side strap for the surface pen, which already is magnetized to attach directly to the tablet..carrying this in hand makes me feel as if i have all the info i need....its like I got the whole world in my hand, in one sleek business grey folio.

Case is great, the surface and keyboard fit in nicely and it has a good flap that goes over the end to hold it all in. Easy to put on, good design. I just thought the color was more black and golds, it was like a grayish in some areas so I got it in the blue instead.

Trying to get more habitual with digital art this year over traditional so needed something to carry my surface around in a bag like my sketchbook, this fits the bill perfectly, it looks stylish and is well made and fit my Surface Pro 7 exactly, it does add a little bulk to my tablet but that's not unexpected, I only had a few things I was a little meh on outlined below, but overall very happy with my purchasePros:-Feels very nice-Magnetic closure in front and on the pocket-Fit my Surface Pro 7 perfect with the Microsoft type cover it came with-Has a pen holder-There is a hole for the back facing camera which I don't use but thought was niceCons:-The straps to hold it in on the inside at the bottom, I came to complain about them being on the screen/having to be removed to make the computer stand or charge and thankfully read a couple reviews before I finally got it, the straps go on the fold out stand under the main screen not over the whole computer, while this is probably common sense I would've liked a little card with a diagram to show me how it fits, this solved my issues with stand compatibility/straps over the screen etc. Which were most of my complaint with this product (and looks like a similar complaint with other reviewers) -- see my photos of straps on the correct way and computer standing/charging port clear-The pocket is nice, but made very slim, this isn't a deal breaker but it cannot fit my charging block laying flat without puffing out/pressing against the back of the surface (see photo), it does hold my small items like drawing glove, papers etc. That are thin and flat-The way the pen holder is sewn it causes the pen to hang out on the outer side of the case which makes me nervous about it snagging (see photo) it would've been nice if the pen holder had been stitched a little closer in so the pen sat under the lip of the case against the tablet (in fact my pen would've been able to magnet to the side of the computer and keep itself still in the holder)

Absolutely perfect for my tablet and keyboard

It's pretty and does exactly what it's supposed to do. It's not falling apart after a long usage, the thickness of the construction is good as well.

Beautiful, well constructed. Arrived quickly. Able to use Surface pro easily while in case and it is well protected between uses.
