The blue works on dark brown hair!
I didn't use leave in conditioner. I did wet my daughters hair and didn't use gloves. I rubbed the hair down the strands between my fingers and the chalk. The color was very vibrant. It didn't last long and it did make a mess putting it on. But there didn't seem to be any flaking. We have light grey carpet and white furniture so we did the application outside. I finished it off with a light spaying of hairspray and it looked great. Lasted a couple hours as brightly as first applied. Then by evening it had faded quite a bit. Washed out of her hair with one shampooing (turned the bath water blue, that was fun) and my hands came clean with two washings. I'm going to order more colors!

I have black hair, and it still shows up. However, it's reallllly messy and it stains everything! Wear gloves and make sure to put hairspray after applying the chalk; it can get on your clothes too :( It also washes away easily with one wash...Not cool yo.

It's pretty hard to apply this since it comes in a little plastic case. I'd much rather have those ones that actually look like chalk. This product did give me the glow that I needed though.

Pretty cool
It showed up ok in my black hair but rubbed out pretty fast. If there was a product that ade it last longer if but it again

Easily washed out of blonde hair
USE LEAVE IN CONDITIONER FIRST! I didn't do this with the pink and ,my daughters school pictures turned out far differently than I had planned. I was so lucky with the blue, you'd think it should of been the other way around. It was the leave in conditioner! Not so much product, but it does the job, I didn't think I was going to have enough. Shoulder length or long hair would need two in order to get best results.
