Huge difference going to a new battery after 3 years

This battery is undersized for the device it’s in.
Replaced the battery in my laptop thinking that the battery life from factory was diminished. Turns out the ASUS laptop I have just has a poorly sized battery for the device. It last under a couple of hours on a full charge if you’re lucky not doing anything but surfing the web.

Fit and worked with Asus ROG computer
It fit exactly in the Asus computer as the OEM, worked on start up and charged just fine with no issues.

Charge rate is all over the place.
Shipping was prompt. Decently packed in antistatic bag but not much padding for a relatively puncture prone product. I got it installed easily in my Zephyrus GM501 despite not having any instructions. The battery capacity is fine. Charging however, is all over the place. I've had it for a few months now and sometimes it will charge above 100w/hr, other times barely 10w/hr. It doesn't matter if it's off, idle, rendering, gaming, windows settings, bios settings, power supply... Nothing makes a difference. I bought an official OEM battery from Asus and that works fine. Has to be bad cells.

Lasted 1 Month
Fit my laptop with out a problem, also did the normal let it charge up and discharge it all the way down on first use. About 3 weeks latter I noticed I am getting less than 1 hour of run time, no gaming just on the internet. So already lost over 1/2 the batter life. Then a few days latter I unplug the computer... dead. No warning or anything, like I pulled the plug on its life. Was hoping to get at least 6 month out of a battery.

Completely died within 12 months.
One year old... the battery will not hold any charge. Battery capacity has consistently lowered over the past twelve months. I would not purchase again.
