The Velveteen Rabbit Mini Kit: Plush Toy and Illustrated Book (RP Minis)

I loved this book as a kid a I had the mini version back then. When I saw this mini version I bought it for my son. The people on here who were disappointed in the size obviously didn't read the word mini nor the dimensions below. There is nothing wrong with this product.

This review is for the running press Velveteen Rabbit Mini kit. The majority of these reviews are generic for any and all editions of the book "The Velveteen Rabbit." I didn't realize that when I ordered thinking all these raving reviews were for the mini book kit.First of all I should have read the dimensions, my bad, but I assumed by mini they meant similar in size to the average children's mini board books that are about five by five inches; especially at a ten dollar price range!This "mini" kit needs to be renamed "tiny and cheap kit." And it's just too chintzy to be cute. This is in no way any where near the quality of most Running Press products and most of their better quality products are about half the price!I'll just let the pictures speak for what you get for ten bucks and advise you to spend it on the full size book. I'm keeping this as it's a gift that i can alter and personalize the tiny stuffy and book into Christmas tree ornaments and now if you'll excuse me I need to go order the full size version...

Super cute overall - but smaller than a post-it note! Bunny is under 2", which means choking hazard for the new baby I bought it for...

This was my favorite story when I was a child. My son really wanted a velveteen rabbit. This one is super tiny and comes with a mini book. It is a good price and good value.

This is a beautiful story, and was one of my little brother's favorite stories when he was a little boy. I bought three for different kids, friends and family, for stocking stuffers. I didn't give any of them.This is incredibly tiny. I never even looked at the book. The rabbit is a joke. Looks like cheap scraps and glue.I want to send these back, but there is no tracking, cancel order, return, etc, beside this item, as is normal. There is no way to set up a return, evidently.

Or, I guess a should say teensy weensy disappointment!!!!!!!!!! The book and the rabbit are the size shown on the picture!!!! About 2 inches tall!!! I was expecting a full size book and a 16 " stuffed rabbit, like I purchased at Kohl's last year for $5.00 each!!!! What a rip off!!!! They should have stated that the picture was the actual size of the book and rabbit. I'm going to return them, but I'm sure they will have some "policy" that prevents me from getting a refund!!!Rita J Johnson

Haha🤣🤣 this thing is TINY!! I cant be mad about it it clearly says in the description. Lesson learned. But other than that I guess it's ok
