Its lightweight, its not huge, the LED light powered by an included coin CR 2032 battery is actually very bright, and the one lighted ring actually illuminates both mirrors. The mag mirror is nice and large and not distorted. I've looked at a lot of magnifying lit mirrors in person and did not like them,; too big and heavy or distorted. I took a stab ordering on line and was thrilled to find this one is perfect! Perfect for travel. Only complaint is that its tricky to open! But you'll love it.

I have had my mirror for a year. The battery life is good. I use this travel mirror where ever I go it's fits perfectly into my purse. The light works great in the dark.It is a good value for the price.

I recently went on a trip and stayed somewhere I knew there would be only one half bathroom and the friends traveling with me would not have time to wait 30 minutes for me to do my makeup in said bathroom. I lucked out in buying this mirror, as the rim of the bathroom sink wound up having no surface area to hold my makeup bag or even toothbrush.Things I loved:-additional lighting that is bright but flattering-it can sit upright at 90 degrees (or however you want to position it) so you don't have to hold it the entire time-added bonus of the magnified side-big enough for a full-face view, but still cute and compact enough to carry in a purse/backpack-as another reviewer mentioned, the satisfying click when you close it! No frustrating opening/closing mechanism.100% would recommend this product.

This is a good, full palm size, magnifying mirror. Light runs on two 2032 button batteries. The slider switch for the light is on the back and I’ve closed the mirror and forgotten to turn off the light, or the slider moved when I put it down, twice. The LED lights will run the batteries down overnight. Still works as a regular & magnifying Compact size mirror.Image quality is very good.The latch is hard to work, (I have arthritic hands) but closes securely.Have not taken it on a trip but should travel well. Fits in my satchel size purse easily but not in my smallish sized makeup bag.

This is everything i have been looking for. i travel a lot and needed something little, lightweight but also very bright. This has it all! the mirror with the light is a normal mirror, then on the other side its "zoomed in". Which is perfect to see and get everything! 10 out of 10!

The great thing is it's size. It's so easy to hold and manipulate to the angles I need for doing my eye make-up. I have small hands, so this size is great for me. The mirror is very clear. It fits in my make-up bag easily and travels well. It's sturdy and has held up very well.The bad: The batteries die quickly. They are button batteries, which are more expensive and you're less likely to find easily. You'll want to travel with an extra set. However, for me, the fatal flaw is that when you close the mirror, there is no automatic cut off switch for the light. So the light stays on and drains the battery. The switch is on the back and you must turn it off each time you use it. I've tried to train myself, but I can't seem to stop just snapping it closed and throwing it back into my make-up bag. So many batteries wasted and the money along with them. So now I don't use the light at all, I can't afford that. Therefore, this mirror is only good in a VERY well lit bathroom/room. Which is actually impossible when I travel. Soooooo, I bought a different mirror to travel with that works properly (and it's actually rechargeable). I keep that one in my travel toiletry case. This one stays in my home. I actually still use it daily because I have GREAT bathroom lighting, and this one is much more comfortable in my hands. Just can't travel with it.

I bought this for my husband who does HVAC work. He wanted a lighted mirror double mirror that he could us to "check his braise joints" (?). I guess the little dentist tool looking mirror tools are usually garbage and break really easy so he wanted something bigger and more durable. The fact that it's rechargeable and doesn't require constant battery purchase and change out is awesome!

Since this is a gift, I haven't the ability to judge it but the compact arrived and was exactly as advertised. I think it will be just fine.
