I purchased both the Cozy Lounge and Bachelor Pad sets. I much prefer the Cozy Lounge scents personally, I was looking for a fireside/campfire scent and Crackling Hearth fit the bill. I wasn't as big of a fan of any of the Bachelor Pad ones, but they weren't unusable. Just not my style. All very subjective.I was actually hesitant about getting these since half of the reviews said that they don't emit enough of a smell, but mine work perfectly. Maybe it depends on the batch you get. They quickly filled up my theater room with a strong, lasting scent.The crackling wood wick is a fantastic touch. It can only be heard when there's no noise in the room, and it's comforting to hear. Like you have your own mini fireplace.They're small but they'll last you a good while each. I've been trimming the wick each time as per the instructions and haven't had any issues with them yet.Quite aesthetically pleasing too! Matches my cozy man theater cave. Contributes perfectly to the Fall movie night vibes I wanted to go for.Would make for a lovely gift if you knew what kinds of scents your recipient liked. There are 3 in each so there's a good chance they'll like at least one of em. The Cozy Lounge set is a safe bet. Bit pricey, but was worth it to me.

These all smelt amazing, we used every one of them. I got them for my husband for his Gentleman study. Love the many smells.

One candle wick refused to burn at all(was thrown away), and the other two after being lit for roughly an hour, the wax all melted and the wick shifted placing the flame directly against the glass. They smelled great while they weren’t at risk of causing a fire.

We have ordered these candle 7 times, the scents are amazing and are unmatched by any candles we've tried and we burn a lot of candles. What is so frustrating about them however, and this happens with every one of their candles, the wick isn't set on the bottom of the jar, it's set about 1/2 inch up in the wax, so the wick burns out when there's still about 1/4-1/3 of the wax left. I've put q-tips in and make shift wicks just to burn down the last of the wax. Obviously, I still buy them, but man, I wish the company would put the wicks on the bottom of the jars!!!

I am a big Candle phanatic when it comes to strong smelling candles, and these are amazing quality. The handmade from the candle, to the incredible flickering wick (most incredible sound), to the strong smell, the sticker placement of such a custom made candle and brand... I will continue to purchase from The Candle Theory due to the quality, price, representation.... No qualms or complaints. Absolutely goes above and beyond more expensive candles I have our bought by far. I highly recommend ❤️

These Candle Theory candles are without a doubt one of the my favorite Amazon purchases. I have only purchased the Cozy Lounge Variety Set so I have no opinion on and can’t speak to others. I would image though, with the quality of these candles their other sets to be just as good.Cool wood wicks, long lasting and the smells are great. Not at all my wife’s typical boring vanilla whatever candles. That said my bride has also stated how much she really enjoys these candles. Definitely more masculine scents but both male and female friends alike have complimented.I have to agree with the “aggressive scent” statement that is printed on each jar. Not in a headache giving, flowery and perfumey, brothel type way but with their ability to scent a room quickly. I’m no candle connoisseur by any means but have purchased a few other candles in the past. And while some have a pleasant scent in their containers they barely give off any when lit. I’ve lit a single Candle Theory candle in my home theater which measures roughly 365 sq.ft. with 9’ ceilings and within a few minutes will start to fill the entire room with its aroma.Also as a migraine sufferer and someone who tends to run from strong smells I can promise you these candles have never brought on one of the nauseating and blinding episodes.

Disappointed. The candles are a lot smaller than I imagined they would be. In the dark glass jar that they come in, that means you can barely see any flickering flame as they burn. In addition, there’s almost no fragrance to them when burning.

These candles smell spectacular in the box and in your face but they don't output that same sent even in a very small room. They're also not designed to burn very long an hour or two and the entire jar is liquid. I put one of these candles in a walk-in closet hoping to get some of that lingering scent into my clothes and close the door and after running for a solid hour the smell was gone by the next day and you can't smell it in the clothes. I run it in the bathroom during showering and I can't even smell it when I come back in the room an hour later. These candles are very small and very expensive compared to other high-end candles with less than half the performance of a woodwick candle for example. I would pay piles of money for candles like these that actually put the scent into the air that is contained in the jar. Unfortunately for these I would not consider buying them again.
