I’m so pleased with the quality of this handsome bath/shower mat. Sturdy and well made; supportive of larger statures; non-slip and nice feel under the feet. Love the look of the wood - ample thickness to the wood slats. (Again supportive and sturdy). Highly recommend!! Worth the price tag, but still more affordable than others in the same category.

This wooden mat is exceptionally solid due to the five pieces of wood that underpin it. The wood is smooth and comfortable underfoot and dried quickly when removed from the shower and leaned up against the wall. However, it’s not suitable for the intended purpose for my husband and me. We bought it to use as a non-slip mat in our shower and tried it there a couple of times. Both of us felt like we were going to fall off of it or step on the edge and twist our ankle. It’s simply too small for the floor of our shower and would need to be 3-4 times the size to be safe. As a result, this now graces our front porch where it looks lovely and doesn’t present a hazard.Please note that we’re of the boomer era and, as such, our balance features are somewhat worn and our agility settings are dialed down to “have something within arm’s reach to grab at all times”. This mat would probably work well for those on the millennial/Gen Z end of the spectrum. 😊

I previously bought the Bambusi bamboo bath mat, and after a month, the bottom was covered in mold. They sent me a replacement, which I lacquered, yet it molded as well. I heard teak was mold-resistant, so I ordered this Utoplike in December. Not only is the quality fantastic, it's beautiful, and most importantly, there are zero signs of mold! I would highly recommend it as I couldn't be happier with it!

This mat appears to be well made. It’s nice and heavy - not too heavy to lift but heavy enough to stay in place. Adds a nice look to my bathroom.

I purchased 3 of these to cover my shower floor as the dimensions make for a perfect fit. They have a great feel under my feet and there is no worry of slippage as the dimensions are exactly as given. There is a little bow in my shower floor so that the water will flow to the drain, so they flex as I walk on them under my 170 lbs frame. So far, over the past several weeks, they've flexed the 1/2 inch in the middle without breaking and go back to original form. I'm not expecting this to last, they'll most likely break into place and conform to contour of floor eventually which I'm prepared for.These mats are replacing some bamboo ones that I had directly sitting on floor that got very moldy as time went on due to them trapping water. I regularly lifted them and scrubbed the mold off, but as these new ones sit above the floor, I'm not expecting the same build-up of scum and mold that I saw before.Great purchase, hope they are available in a couple years so I can buy more when the time comes to replace.

Item arrived nicely packaged. Just remove from box and set in place. Perfect item for Japandi style and a spa like experience. Dries quickly. Suggest you rinse the underside after each use so soap doesn’t buildup.
