Mattel Disney Pixar Cars Track Set with Lightning McQueen Toy Car, Race Around Radiator Springs Playset with Speed Booster

Awesome toy for Pixar cars lovers! It takes up a lot of space but it is pretty fun!

Purchased for a big Cars fan as a gift and it did not disappoint! I see a lot of other reviews stating issues with quality, battery life, etc. its taken its fair share of abuse (stuck cars, hands in unit, etc.) and we have had none of those issues. Have owned this set for 2+ years and have only changed batteries once and its been used quite a bit. Two things I notice are, one that the newer Cars die-casts (Bobby Swift, Cal Weathers, Brick Yardley) are lighter and work better in terms of getting around the track than some of the older Cars die-casts (Chick Hicks, The King, etc.). The second is that this track will collect dust, dirt, plastic, rubber, etc. quite a bit which slows the cars down and they stop getting around the track on their own. Occasionally wiping the track surface down with a tiny bit of LiquiFix lubricant gets this track clean and the cars running around the track again like it just came out of the box.

Got this for my 3 year old for his birthday and he absolutely loves it!! He plays with it for hours and anyone who knows him knows that’s hard to do. You can add more cars to it and watch them speed around. I would definitely buy it again!!

I bought this as a gift for my 6 year old autistic grand daughter. She has other Hot Wheels tracks that she loves, but none with a battery powered launcher like this one has. She opened it up and immediately wanted it set up so she could play with it. Once it was assembled she played with it for hours.Couple things to keep in mind if you are buying this as a gift for a child.1. The actual racetrack box is shipped inside of a brown box that says Mattell on it. I didn't know that the actual tracks packaging was inside of that, or I would have removed it from that box before wrapping so that so my granddaughter could have seen what she was getting as soon as the paper was removed2. The launcher requires 2 D batteries which are not included. Pick up a set of batteries.3. Not all Hot Wheels cars are compatible with the track. I understand that this is the case for all Hot Wheels tracks, but the Lightning McQueen car that comes included with the track seems just slightly bigger than most 1:64 cars. Not too much but enough that some standard 1:64 scale cars did not work even though they appeared they would4. Last thing and this is nit picking, but the track section connectors differ from other Hot Wheels tracks. This means that they are not interchangeable with standard Hot Wheels tracks even though they are all made by Mattel. My vision of putting together one big Hot Wheels track for my grand daughter from combining the other track sets came to a very quick halt when I saw that.

Love this race track. The tracks are very sturdy and stay together even when little brother (2) plays with it. Keeps both boys, 6 &2 busy for hours. Highly recommend

My boys love this race track. They could literally spend hours playing with this set. Would definitely recommend purchasing this for a Cars lover.

The kiddo loves the race track. It’s not too big & not too small. Hours of play and fun. It can get a bit loud, but track play hours are during the day and weekends. Don’t hesitant to purchase. All pieces inside, boxed & delivery without issues.
