Worked great

The item looks like the original, but the Spools don't fit over trimmer head shaft, the hole is too narrow, and don't wind correctly!!!

I bought this to replace the spool on my mother's Weedeater (Brand) 15# Trimmer EL 15N.The original finally cracked after 2 years of use. It does come with a full spool of cordand was easily installed in mere seconds. I use a Troybilt gas weedeater to do her yardwhile she uses hers to trim around her garden, flowers, etc.The item arrived on time and fits the model as described in the product details.I've been to Home Depot, Wal-Mart, and Lowe's and they didn't have it. I brought thebroken one with me to use as a guide. Ordering it online delayed her finishing hertrimming but it was cheaper (mainly on gas) and easier to find the correct one.Great purchase.

Item was not new in packages, looked like the spools were rewound and not factory wound. Spools were also too tight on the spindle and did not appear to be the same as the one on the clipper.

Needed it for my weed machine

The spools are wound poorly which effectively nullifies the line auto-advancing feature of the trimmer. While edging a sidewalk, it is necessary to stop and manually advance the line every few feet.
