Great little product
I bought the Babypote after reading a review online, and I'm so glad I did! There is literally nothing I can see wrong with it. It is very soft, easy to squeeze. Right now my daughter is 12 months and I have to help her eat out of it but I know as she gets older, she will be able to use it on your own. I steam vegetables, mix it with some store-bought applesauce and have a great little snack for her on the go. It holds a little more then a store-bought foil pouch and is easy to wash. Most days I just rinse it out but it goes great in the dishwasher too. It has a wide mouth to easily fill and to get out every last ounce I roll it up from the bottom like toothpaste. I throw it in my diaper bag and it has never come open or leaked out, I do try to put it on top though. We take it to church every week and It couldn't work better. After I got one for myself I got one for my friend's son's first birthday and she loves it too. I highly recommend this product!

The idea is there....
But with no valve and tiny baby hands this is not something they can do on their own. It's one of those things where I would give it to my ten month old turn away from him for two seconds to set his big brother up and we'd have food every where.... Not to mention when he'd throw it and I wasn't quick enough to catch it. For the price many a swear words were uttered under my breath. I realize the pouches also have no valve but for some reason the texture of this product made him want to squeeze it WAY more than the pouches. In fact he holds the pouches gingerly by the corners and just sucks them down. I wouldn't recommend this product. Especially now that there are so many more on the market for so much less now.

Save your money
I consider this purchase a waste of money. The overall quality is okay, but the concept flawed:1. you can not see how much is left inside (wish this thing would be clear)2. It's difficult to squeeze the content out because of the shape (should be rather longish than round)3. Hard to fill unless you had a third hand and/or a funnel4. Annoying to clean out5. The shape of the suction cap seems irritating to babyYou might not want to hear this (and product enthusiasts & future "McDonalds parents" knock yourself out with hitting the "not helpful" button, I don't care) - but:+++ Teach your baby to eat from a spoon +++Products like this are just expensive junk to satisfy our needs for most easy and clean solutions for feeding. Do you think our parents had this kind of stuff? Give yourself and your baby the personal touch of feeding with a spoon. Don't buy this fast-food philosophy junk product. I'm feeding my 11m old daughter with a spoon now and it's not a mess, and I'm not even using bibs. Message over.

Good product but could be better
I like this little pouch. I bought it for my son to be more interested in smoothies, etc. He's not a great eater but loves the little buddy fruits applesauce packets. The problems I have with this are that the screw top comes off so very easily. My son can just screw it right off. However the cap is too hard for him to get off, so he can't eat whatever I put inside without me taking the top off. I also think that the opening to which the food comes out should be a little smaller or have some sort of valve so that it doesnt spill out. With smoothies especially it just dribbles out when my son puts it down.Overall I'd say the idea is great and with 100% supervision this item could be improved upon greatly thoughMy son is 2 1/2 also. I guess I should have thrown that in there to get a reference.

A Really Nice Reusable Food Pouch
This is a pretty awesome product. It has some pros and cons, but mostly pros. I'd say this was my favorite pouch until Infantino's Pouch Pals came out.Pros:- Super easy to wash- Really durable and reusable- Bright color is hard to loose (we're talking toddlers here)- Soft and easy to squeeze for kids- Wide mouth is really easy to fill with apple sauce, yogurt, or whateverCons:- The cap is a pop-on instead of a screw on. My little girl has squeezed this in her hand and filled the cap with apple sauce... a mess. Some might prefer this, without the screw, the spout is smooth, and kids with sensory issues might like the smooth feel better... it's a trade off.- I wish it had a solid base so I could stand it on the counter while filling, or my kid could put it down without leaking out- Not translucent, so you can't see how much they have leftWe have one of these, and used it all the time until Infantino came out with their silicone pouch. Their old "Keeper Pouch" had a narrow mouth, pain to fill. But, their new Reusable Pouch Pals have a wide mouth, stable base, translucent silicone and screw on cap. So, my current favorite. But, when they are dirty, this old stand by isn't bad, especially since she figured out not to squeeze it BEFORE it was in her mouth. A great product.

Don't believe the mixed reviews-- the Babypote pouches are fantastic!!
We have tried every single brand of re-useable pouch with multiple kiddos. And the Beaba Babypote is, by far, the highest quality and best version. Its a bit pricey and hard to find, but totally worth the money and effort. Here are highlights:1. Very easy to clean-- it comes apart into multiple pieces and cleans easily in the top rack of the dishwasher2. Easy to fill-- a wider than normal mouth means you can fill it easily without extra tools. I tip yogurt into this straight from the large yogurt container (no spoons!) and it fills easily.3. Easy for kiddos to use- the top pops off and kids can easily use it without much guidance.4) BPA-free and non-toxic for peace of mind.5) Saved us from all the pre-made, expensive pouches in the grocery store. We use it for applesauce, yogurt, and homemade purees.Other reviewers have pointed out that its "squishy" but we haven't found this to be a problem at all. It is durable, high-quality, and has lasted us a very long time.Highly recommended!
