This grip solves a few problems. It provides an additional surface to grip the camera which is definitely needed. I wish it were a bit more rubberized feeling but it's definitely usable. The metal is almost totally flush with the camera, which looks good. I was amazed how they designed the base to enable you to use it and still be able to open and close the camera. There is almost no clearance around the RX100 hinge so I had thought it impossible. One gripe is that the design is a screw within a tripod hole screw. These aren't one unit so when you unscrew it you may remove the small screw and still have the tripod hole screw stuck in the camera. It's removable but this slows you down.Recentering the tripod hole under the lens is very helpful! It lets me use an external LCD viewfinder/loupe which is important for focusing in video mode (viewfinder makes critical focusing difficult).All in all this is a nice upgrade over the Sony stick-on rubber grip. I highly recommend it and applaud the creative design.

Please keep in mind the previous reviews that noted the original version that has a rather sharp point on the right side due to the slot for a wrist trap and that area was not smoothed out, but the NEW version is rounded off and fine (Sept 11, 2019). Be sure you ask for the NEW version, otherwise you'll need to use a fine metal file (like I did) to smooth out/round off those two corners/edges that come to a fairly sharp and uncomfortable point. I decided to keep mind mine which was the original version because I do have a file and some matte black paint to do the touch-up afterwards. It's not a big deal to me because you can't even tell I 'worked' on it and this is only a $36 product, so it's a non issue to me. I use other JJC products and have always been happy with the quality (lens hoods mostly, like you see on my X-T30) and this grip with the minor issue was the only time I ever noticed anything that wasn't a fine fit and finish. The price for the JJC products and the quality you get compared to other 3rd party products is hard to beat.

I recently purchased my Sony RX100 Vii and before it arrived I ordered this JJC Hand Grip based upon reviews of the camera and how it handles. I considered the Sony Grip but I thought this JJC one was a better option. Now that it's on the camera it is a perfect compliment. Easy to install, well made, nice size extended grip without being too large. Easy access to the Battery/Card Slot. It also looks like it is built in as part of the camera. So much better than what Sony offers. This one is specifically for the RX100 Vii but they also make them for the other series of cameras. So if you own a Sony RX100 and want a more secure feel...Get tihs Grip.

The camera is borderline heavy for its size. While the grip is well-made and helpful in holding the camera it adds more weight. It also makes the camera more bulky and less likely to fit in your pocket. If weight is your issue then go for the Sony grip.

This accessory's grip helps prevent dropping the camera when pulling out of a holster and while handling this great camera. Also it moves the tripod socket to the center of the lens. I use different shades / hoods and image reducing lenses attached to the back of the camera so this makes the hoods interchangable.Sony's stick on grip would help holding the camera but would not allow any other accessory.I also have the full "cage", but I am not hanging other things on the camera so far.

This little add on to my Sony Camera allows me to hook up to a tripod in seconds! It also gives me a better grip when using large Lens. My favorite carry around lens is the Sony 24-105 which is an excellent piece of equipment filled with great glass. Also works well when using my Batis 135mm lens. If you are a serious photographer this equipment is for you.

This is a much better grip than the one Fujifilm makes for these cameras. The build quality is top notch. The hand grip is more substantial than on the Fujifilm version, which is really the primary reason for the accessory. It also lengthens the grip a bit so that it extends the lower end of the grip. And having the built-in anchor for a tripod clip is a definite bonus. I love my X-T20, but this makes it much easier to handle. I can’t really think of a downside to it.

I own two XPRO3s and like them very much. I recently had to use a tripod but ran into difficulties as you can imagine. I purchased the JJC MHG on a recommendation and took a chance - amazing! Just works so well. On my tripod the screen tilts almost fully back - life saver. Really well made - good quality. I didn't buy it for the handgrip but that also is a great feature.

This simple hand grip transforms the way the X Pro 3 feels in your hand. Without the grip the X Pro 3 felt slighty awkward. With the grip the camera is a joy to use.The Grip is very well made and complements the camera.

I attached this to the Sony Rx100 V and the battery door does not open, the bracket does interfere with the door and sd slot.

※他のレビューで何といわれようが、純正品とこちらの製品を同時に手元に置いての比較では無い以上、どうとも思いませんのであしからず。妙に一生懸命なのはステマなのかなと思います。GX7MK3に装着時の、純正外付けグリップとの比較です。ちなみに参考までに僕の手は普通の人より若干小さいと思います。純正外付けグリップは初期購入時のキャンペーンで無料で入手したため、特別な思い入れはありません。最初は仰々しいなと思った物の、想像以上に軽量で、Leica DG 15mm程度のレンズでもかなり安定するので、1年半ほどスナップ用途に常用しており、そちらとの比較となります。で、Kiorafotoの方は「装着時にバッテリー蓋に直接アクセスできる」のが最大のメリットですが、ある意味でそれが最大かつ唯一のメリットに感じます。純正外付けグリップとの重量の差も下記の理由でアドバンテージには感じません。決定的なのは「グリップ部の形状（きちんとホールド出来るか否か）」です。出っ張りの大小と言うより、指の当たる（外付けグリップで延長される）面が、純正の外付けグリップより寝ていて、握り（指先の引っかかり）が浅いのが第一の問題です。さらに本体グリップと同じ角度で若干引っ込み気味に寝ていることで、グリップの角が本体グリップよりボディの端側に寄っていて、ここに指先をかけると、グリップの角がズレた分、相対的に手の平がボディ裏面側にズレてしまいます。このため、さらに握りこむことが出来なくなっていて、結果右手側が開き気味になってしまいます。右手が開くため、Leica DG 15mmくらいの重量のあるレンズを装着すると、そこそこボディがレンズ側に傾いで（上部側が開いて）しまいます。これに対応するには（人差し指はレリーズボタンにかけるので）中指付近を強めに握る必要があるのですが、グリップの上部・中指付近がラウンドしているという、中指に力を入れにくい「残念な形状」になっていて、かなり頑張らないと右手だけではしっかりしたボディ保持が難しいです。撮影時は左手を添えるのでいいのですが、本来「左手を添えていれば〜」で良いなら外付けグリップを装着する必要も無く「何のための外付けグリップだろう？」と感じてしまいます。もちろん、外付けグリップを付けず本体グリップだけだと持った安心感は当然薄れるのですが、本体グリップであれば中指も含め指全体で包み込むように握らないといけないので、ボディがレンズ側に傾ぐことはありません。本体グリップで充分とは思いませんが、結局「ホールドする」という意味では色々考えられているのでしょう。Kiorafotoの方も、出っ張りは僅かでも、ボデイ面に対して垂直に出ていれば問題無かったと思われるのですが・・・。対して、純正の外付けグリップだと、オーバー気味ながら形状が考えられたグリップが付くのでこの問題は無いです。これはグリップ部の指がかかる部分の角度が立っていて「指先が確実にひっかかる」のが大きいです。出っ張り部が深いので一見オーバーではあるのですが、Leica DG 15mmですら実際はそんなに小さいレンズではないので、思いの外かさばるということもありません。15mmより大きいパナ12-60mmなどのレンズならなおのことです。Kiorafotoの方を実際に装着したところ、問題を感じないレンズは、キットの沈胴ズームか、14mm、20mm程度の単焦点など、やはり小型軽量のレンズで、前述のようにLeica DG 15mm以上の重さ・大きさのレンズ装着では頼りないです。個人的には大きさ以上にレンズ重量が響くというイメージでしょうか。あと、バッテリー蓋へのアクセスのため底に大きめの穴があるのですが、その部分のフチのフレームとボディとの間に隙間ができていて、カメラ上部から目をやると隙間から向こう側の風景（地面）が見えます（笑）。剛性的には問題ないのでしょうが、感覚的な一体感・しっかり感・凝縮感は薄く感じられてしまいます。たぶん僅か1mm程度穴が小さけれ（ボディ前面側のフレーム部が太ければ）ば解消できたはずなので残念です。アルカスイス互換クイックリリース用の出っ張りは、族車のスカートバンパーみたいです・・・。何も無いボディ左手側にあるので目立つ気もします。安定性に関しては、純正外付けグリップでもグリップ部が前に出っ張っていて前側に倒れることもないので、Kiorafotoもなにもアルカスイス用に大きくしなくてもと思います。前述のように重めのレンズには不向きとなれば「アルカスイスレベルの強固なクイックリリースである必要性があるのか？」とも思います。日本以外ではアルカスイス互換がセミ・スタンダードなようなので仕方ないのかもですが、対応部は中央部のみに済ませる様な工夫が欲しかったです。中央部ならレンズが付くので目立ちませんし、アルカスイスのクイックシューもこのクラスのカメラ用はその程度の幅のはずです。結局、純正外付けグリップは取り付けねじもサムダイヤルタイプで左程取り外しが面倒でもないので「わざわざ外付けグリップを使うのであれば」純正を選んだ方が良いと感じました。もちろんバッテリー蓋へ直接アクセスできるのは大変便利ですが、バッテリー蓋へのアクセスが必須と思われるのは、他にクイックシューアクセサリーなども取り付けられるような「装着したら外したくない」製品か、同様に着脱が億劫な「装着型のカメラボディケースなど」です。逆に言うと、キットの沈胴ズームなどをメインに使っていて、外付けグリップを付けたいのであれば、純正外付けグリップは少し仰々しいと思うのでKiorafotoで良いと思います。質感自体は悪くはないので、もう少し基本的なグリップ部の造形が練られて作られていたら・・・と思います。GX7MK3用ですから「Leica DG 15mm（くらいまで）を取り付けたときはこの製品はベストバランス！」という仕上がりにして欲しかったです。たぶんhttps://www.amazon.co.jp/水に強い！はがせる滑り止めシール-Griiip-スティック-レターサイズ-ブラック/dp/B0749CM2Z6/のような製品を本体グリップ部に貼った方が、実際のホールドは良いと思います。まとめると、Kiorafoto◎　装着時にバッテリー蓋に直接アクセスできる○　純正グリップより多少安く僅かに軽い×　グリップの上部形状によりホールドに力が必要×　バッテリー蓋用の穴が大きめでスケルトン感がある×　三脚穴がアルミのグリップ自体に直接切られていて耐久性に不安△　アルカスイス互換部分が張っていてカメラの凝縮感を削ぐ純正外付けグリップ◎　しっかりと指がかかりホールドに優れたグリップ形状○　余計な物のない形状でミニマム感・凝縮感がある○　サムダイヤルによる取り付けでイージー○　三脚穴が別体の合金で作られていて耐久性がある×　バッテリー蓋へのアクセスに取り外しが必要×　Kiorafoto製より高く、希望小売価格で買うとその差は広がるKiorafotoに要望する改善は、・グリップ指先部の面の角度の改善・グリップ上部（中指付近）の形状の改善・バッテリーアクセス穴の大きさの修正・アルカスイス互換部の改善（レンズ中央付近のみにするなどして、左手側をコンパクトに）あたりでしょうか・・・三脚穴の強度は、アルカスイス互換クイックリリース対応形状のため使用頻度が少ない（＆コスト面）という割り切りでもあるのだろうと思うので要望には入れませんでした。個人的にはGM1/5用の純正グリップくらいシンプルながらグリップが良い、デザインの秀逸な物で、さらにバッテリー交換対応だと嬉しかったかな・・・。「便利さ」と「グリップ性能」とでどちらを「実用性」と受け取るのか、そのバランスが少しチグハグな（純粋なグリップとしての機能性が低い）製品だと思いました。純正外付けグリップの見た目がゴツいということと、バッテリー交換が楽というのは純粋に嬉しかったので、Kiorafotoのこの製品には飛びつきました。けれど僕にとっては「本来の外付けグリップとしての実用度が低い」という結果で、レビューを観て過度に期待してしまっただけに残念でした。もちろん、こちらの方が握りやすいという意見は、手が僕よりもさらに小さいのかもですし、否定はしません。ただグリップは、物理形状から来る握りやすさ（握りこみにくさ）からは逃れようがないので、やはり「出っ張り」「引っかかり」としての機能を優先させたまま、使いやすさを追求して欲しかったです。
