They are good clips. Sturdy but not too stiff. Have not rusted or anything. Good value also. I will recommend

Snug enough for just a few pages, big enough for a bunch
The last butterfly clips I got were Jam gold, slightly smaller than these but not a full size smaller. The Jam were so loose they could only be used for a bundle of papers that the large size of ordinary paper clip wouldn't handle. These will hold just the first few of what you anticipate to be a thicker stack - no need to swap clips as you add to it. (And it's a lot cheaper than Jam, too!)
