Its a good stand and speaker set up. I like it.

I bought this with a desire for a small Bluetooth gizmo to improve sound and stand up my phone for viewing in a small kitchen. It has impressed me with it's simple portable usability. It is a breeze to set up, has one button (on/off) and the Bluetooth and power lights face away from the front, appreciated by me because I don't like lots of little lights everywhere. Battery life is good enough for a day's wandering around with it, more or less. Pairing is EZ and announced with an obvious chime. Sound- surprisingly ok for the size and cost, best for casual listening and spoken word, gets loud enough to cook, garden, and be a background music maker. Volume is controlled by phone, and it is just a speaker, doesn't take calls and isn't "smart", which is fine with me. Stereo separation is nice up close, bass is...not much; don't expect 1.5" speakers and a tiny pair of bass ports to throb like a dance club! Decent portable sound, a tidy place to put my phone where I can see/use it, and both things can be carried in one hand? Nice. I would use it bedside or in a kid's or dorm room, too.

As others have said, the AUX jack part was broken. The idea for this type of speaker is good but no point if it can't be used and has this bad build quality

It delivers a clean and bright sound.It holds the iPad, iPhone or tablet at only one angle, not adjustable, but at a good angle for table top usage.The bass response is disappointing which makes music a bit tinny and movies lacking in full-dynamic sound experience.The stereo separation is very good.Overall, a good product for the price.

Crazy loud noise every time you turn it on, connects to Bluetooth. Not loud at all other than that dumb noise. And less than 5 days of ownership, it won't hold a charge and just constantly makes a dead battery noise (through the speakers) every 15 seconds. Save your money.Update: So after I received the replacement, I couldn't get it to charge either. Plugged it into my USB-C cords for my phone and other devices (tried 4 cords), none worked. Finally I tried with the included cable (stander USB to USB-C) and it charged. Ok great, so do I have to keep this one cable to charge it or I'm screwed? Tried another USB to USB-C non-fast charging cable and it worked too. So you can't charge it with any fast charging USB-C cables. New unit still has the same annoying loud turn on sound and connection sound.

This is an added help for those of us older folks who really want to stop asking, “what was that they said.?”
