This thing cranks! Nothing like feeling your music. Good clear sound with surprising bass!

I added some rubber feet to the end caps on one side so I can lay them sideways and use them as floor monitors when needed. Sound great for the value. Plenty of bass and the highs sound good without being harsh. Of course they're not as nice as some name brands, but still very good, and a fraction the price. I'm powering them with a 600w(rms) amp that seems to get the job done. Not very heavy, but seem well built. I wouldn't get them wet though, as the wood seems kind of cheap. Overall pretty good, I've purchased 2 sets over the years, and they still work fine.

They are great speakers just don’t use the cheap twist lock inputs they will fry the speaker since they break internally and loose the connection. Stick with the phono jacks and you’ll be ok. I don’t understand why they put cheap twist locks on them???

As a pro musician, I transport, set up speakers, Amp etc., then play live keyboard for local dance events. Over the past 30 years I have used all the big brands of pro speakers. Needing new full range mains, I researched features and these Rockville beat all others for full spectrum frequency range, at less weight for same 12" passive cabs in all other brands, and at the lowest price! They exceed my expectations and are the best sounding speakers I have ever owned. Even the gang at last Saturdays dance heard the difference and commented how fab the new speakers sound.These Rockville blow away the competition!

I still can't believe I spent only $80 for these speakers. They sound really good. I know equipment so listen to what I'm about to tell you. These speakers will never compete with a $400 speaker. So get at least enuff amp power at least 300watts going to them. Don't run any lower than 50Hz to them. If you want boom add a crossover and a sub. I'm a member of an r&b band and we have peavey behringer jbl and Yorkville speakers. Loaded in our trailer so know what quality sounds like. These are for a smaller system I'm putting together. I'm also using rockville 1000watt 18 inch subwoofer. An rockville crossover and eq. With a behringer epx2800 amp.I set my crossover at 100Hz. And man the sound is awesome. I've only used the with my iPad and not with a band. I will be doing that pretty soon. I'm smart enuff to know I will only be able to use this setup at small events. Mine came in undamaged. Buy these speakers. They should work fine for any size dj event. If they don't work for mains in a band environment you can always use them for stage monitors. At $80 each that would still be a bargain.

A return by a customer was the price drop because one of the grills was dented in. It took me 15 mins to fix the grill front and they added a second speaker to move them as a pair. So 130 for the pair.NOW, about the sound. 500w 12" woofer, mids and tweeter. They sound GREAT. I attached them to a Rockville 109 Powered PA system. Band perfect for our group and loud. EQ them right and they BOOM.They are a bit old school for weight but who cares. Did a mention they sound great?

Terrible don't have any power cable, no power, no audio at all from console or from other speakerk, complete desaster....Update, I call today and the explain that need a amplifier for able to work i check and are around $150 more, I hope this can help someone don't buy this if you don't have amplifier it need for able to work or buy a power speaker I just learn today, I get prepaid label and send back.

I am a musician & DJ and wanted something inexpensive but good. After debating for several months, reading all the reviews and speaking with the company I decided to take a chance on these speakers. What can I say " I am totally blown away" with the sound, Base reflex, Mid-range, Highs and quality of these speakers. I am running a 700 watt per channel amp and these babies handle it perfectly. I also have a 10 band per channel EQ and the sound is just incredible. I would Highly, Highly, Highly recommend these to anyone looking for a high quality product and a very. very reasonable price. I am an actual purchaser of this product and not related to the company and have not received any incentive to write this review. I just thought people should know how really good this product is since no one else is telling the real story.
