Solid purchase
These earphones are a solid purchase. They are basically a normal pair of earbuds with plastic covers, but they work, they do not break, and they do not fall out. I sweat a great deal and have used earphones for an average of 2 hours a day (as little as 30 min and as long as 5 hours). I have tried several other earphones and I prefer these above any other. They hold up and stay in my ears without drowning out the surrounding noise so that I can be aware of my surroundings. The ability to use the voice control and volume control has not been hampered by sweat, rain, cold, or heat. This durability and the affordable price make these an far away favorite sport earphone. They are fairly comfortable and the sound quality is average (but I use these excercise and I am not looking for symphonic quality sound). There are certainly more comfortable and better sounding products on the market, but you sacrifice durability. As for more comfortable and better sound quality, the Bose earphones are the stand alone favorite, but they do not hold up to heavy use. For the first few months, the Bose earphones performed wonderfully, and if you do not sweat too much AND do not wear them too often AND do not mind spending way more, the Bose would be the way to go. Unfortunately, the Bose earphones do not hold up to heavy excercise. If you are fortunate, they will stop working within 12 months and you can get a new pair; otherwise, the best that you will be able to do is a new pair at 1/2 price (still way above the price of these earphones).

Had Better, Had Worse
These are decent and that is coming from someone that has far too many sets of ear-buds, headphones and related. Any and every price range you can imaging. The Yurbuds are fairly comfortable but still give the sensation that they are going to fall out, though they never did.The 3 stars vs 5 is due to a few things; starting with the sound quality being a more on the tinny side, meaning little to no bass or mid-tones. The volume levels do have to be quite a bit higher to produce the same output of some of my other ear-buds (both in-ear and non-in-ear). This could affect battery life for some users I would imagine.Next, and I want to clarify that this problem may NOT be the fault of the Yurbuds entirely although I have others that work fine. The problem is that if you use an extension of any kind to plug your cable into your device (iPhone in my case) I then cannot use the controls that are right there on the cord. Finally that brings up one more complaint - if you have a case on your phone (for example), you will most likely have to either remove it, remove the bottom of it if your case is of that type or use an extension for the Yurbuds plug otherwise it will not connect. If the cable was straight (like an standard iPhone, iPod etc cable) it would work just fine and would also eliminate the previous issue with not being able to use the controls that are on the Yurbuds cable.

They Don't Fall Out - Sound A Bit Lacking By Design
I'm not a big runner but I do enjoy regular walks and wanted some headphones that would stay in my ear without blocking out all noise so I'd hear oncoming cars or people walking up behind me. We all know the iPhone headphones are terrible and keep falling out of your ears so I had high hopes these would stay in place. Here's what I found:The Good:These do indeed stay in your ears. They may feel like they might fall out but I've never had a problem. The package includes two different size ear pieces and if those don't fit, you can send the company a picture of your ear and they will mail you a different sized set at no charge. I didn't need this service though.I can hear what's going on around me. My hearing is not blocked out so I hear upcoming cars, bikes, walkers etc. As a safety issue when walking this is good for you. You can stay aware of your surroundings and still hear your music. I was very happy about this as well as the stay-put fit.The iPhone controls work seamlessly with my iPhone 4G. I’ve taken calls, clicked through songs and all the things you’d expect these headphones to do without any difficulty. The Not So GoodBecause these headphones have a tube like shape that ducts the sound into your ear, they do have a tube like hollow sound. I don't think you can really get around this because you want to be able to hear your surroundings and if the tube fit tightly into your ear to improve the sound you'd lose the ability to hear your surroundings. I’m not knocking the headphones for this although it might be an issue for you. Honestly after listening for a few minutes you get used to the sound and it’s not a big deal. If you are a hardcore audiophile it may be a deal breaker. For the everyman wanting music while they exercise I think its fine. The headphone wires have a tendency to transmit noise vibrations to the earpieces. The wires are a bit thick and heavy compared iPhone wires and they will bump against your shirt or shoulders. That bumping on the wires vibrates the earpieces and you will hear that in the headphones. I’d liken it to tapping on the ear pieces with your finger. This is distracting and I usually try to isolate the wires to keep them from bouncing around. Honestly this is my only gripe about the headphones. The conclusion: I would absolutely recommend these to anybody who wants a headphone that will stay put and allow you to hear your surrounds. I use them regularly and am quite happy.

Never fall out!! except when they do :-(
so these were not supposed to fall out! well in fact they guarantee they will not fall out...Ever! well they did, I think i must have odd shape ears because i have always had trouble keeping "In-ear" headpones in but these were so adamant that they would stay in that I had to give them a try. On my first run in them they actually lasted about 3 miles which I was quite impressed with but they always felt loose and i spent the whole time thinking about them being loose and falling out. I did not want to push them in because I wanted to see if they would fall out without pushing in. anyway when they fell out i put them back in and they stayed in for a mile at a time so I had to refit them for the next 4 miles of my run. I tried the bigger size of tip but these were even worse, they fell out constantly.I contacted the customer service which i thought was the UK and they were very nice and helpful until they realised that i was in the UK because it was in fact the US customer support that i had contacted. They passed me onto the UK or European customer service who were very unhelpful. I requested some other tip sizes to see if that would help and they gave me another email address to try. I sent an email to the other email address but they did not reply and so i gave up and returned the headphones.I really did want them to work, they are lightweight and the sound seemed ok, I am in no way an audiophile and dont really care how good the sound is for running, I normally listen to podcasts anyway so all spoken word and not music but i just want to be able to hear it and for them to stay on. The sound was OK to me but you could hear a slight movement of the tip in your ears which could be annoying. If you have standard size and shape eats then i suspect these would be ok, I think also that I may have very sweaty ears when running so that does not help but I think that is meant to be factored into the design of the shape and material used.Anyway as I say I returned them and have gone for some cheap bluetooth ones that hook onto the ear. they have very good reviews and are so cheap that i dont mind replacing them every year if they break.Hope this helps you make your decision for your next pair of running headphones.

Great headphones. Best if you have an iPhone.
I love the Yurbuds earpieces. They're the comfiest earphones I've used, and they stay in my ears better than any others. I also have quite waxy ears, so it's great to be able to take these off and wash them. The earphones themselves are pretty good too. Sound quality is decent, if not amazing. I bought them to use with my iPhone, which worked great with the inline controls, but then I switched to an Android, and only the main button functions now. The volume controls don't work on Android phones. If they did I would give them 5 stars.

Do what they say on the tin...surprisingly!
OK, I was slightly sceptical about these headphones. Many manufacturers claim that their headphones won't fall out but not all of their products live up to these claims. These headphones, however, do.They fit in your ears very securely due to their "locking" mechanism. Basically, they slide into your ears as most earbuds do, but then by rotating the things downwards, they seem to lock in place. Very ingenious!I've only done fairly short runs (around 5k) but they stay in no problem and sound great to boot!

Check the tech specs - not the same as Inspires
I thought these would just be the normal (decent) Inspires with the buttons you need for a touch screen iPod. They're not - I found the sound compressed and no where near what you'd expect At the price. Returned!

Great till they stopped working after 7 months:
Great till they stopped working: They fitted well and only occasionally fell out: The sound quality was good: The remote is a bit tempermental but worked: Then after 6 months the right earphone started fading in and old and is now completely gone: If I wiggle the wire in the Y piece it works so it is a loose connection and therefore a design fault as I have read other reviews who's owners say exactly the same:
