Great for Hockey Skate and Gloves
Use this to dry my kids hockey skates and gloves after practice and games. Works well and helps reduce the smell from extended wet gear. Easy to use and set the time. Just a low hum while running. Can set it with heat or just air circulation.

Good buy
This thing was used probably 10 hours a day continuously for about a week as we swapped out boots and gloves during the days of snow skiing and play and it worked great. The air flow was not overly forceful and the heat was not so hot it would burn you or your gear but was enough to get the job done. Was a great purchase and would not hesitate to buy again. Well worth the money spent.

I would probably spring for the electronic timer
It works exactly as described and will slowly dry your boots. I suppose that's a good thing, as cooking boots/gloves over the floor registers like we did as kids did seem to shorten their lives. I appreciate that I can choose whether or not to use the heat, and the base is sturdy enough for a pair of 8" boots with or without something on the shorter risers. The only knock against this, and the reason for 4 stars instead of 5, is the timer. I think it is a mechanical timer because it turns hard for such a flimsy-feeling piece of kit and I'm worried that the timer or dial will fail before long. It is unlike any mechanical timer I've ever used, too, and honestly it's a little weird figuring out how far it needs to be turned (mechanical timers need to be turned to a certain point and then turned back to your chosen setting). I wish that the dial faced up, too, because it is very difficult to read the numbers unless I climb all the way down to hands and knees and make sure the front is well lit. I think the electronically timed version would probably correct all these issues.Be aware that the noise of the internal fan is comparable to a tabletop fan. It's by no means obtrusive in my house, but it is not silent. Of course, engineering a silent forced air boot dryer would probably lead to a Dyson-like cost, which would be silly. So overall I'm satisfied, with a couple (probably minor) caveats. I do recommend spending the extra money for the timer upgrade to digital, but this is a huge step up from the various methods I've used in the past.

If you love warm dry boots and gloves
This thing is great. Especially for cold, damp environments. Put a pair of boots and gloves on it for 30 min before stepping out into a frozen winter, and it makes a world of difference. Works great.

Dry Gear = Happy Life — Fast, Quiet, and Built to Last
The DryGuy DX is one of those tools you didn’t know you needed until you use it once — then you’ll never go back. It gently pushes warm air through boots, gloves, and gear using four drying ports — and it actually works. I’ve used it on wet work boots, snow-soaked gloves, and even damp gym shoes. Within 1–2 hours, they’re dry, warm, and ready to go.The adjustable timer and heat switch are perfect — you get full control over how long and how hot. It doesn’t overheat or shrink anything, and it’s quiet enough to leave running without distraction. The build feels solid, and it handles daily use without issue.Pros:Dries up to four items at once — boots, gloves, shoes, linersFast dry time (usually under 2 hours)Timer and optional heat settings for safety and flexibilityRuns quietly and doesn't overheat gearDurable design — made for repeated useCons:Takes up some floor or shelf space — not huge, but not tiny eitherPower cord could be longer depending on where you use itBottom Line:If you deal with wet gear often — work, snow, hiking, hunting — this is a total game changer. It keeps boots dry, gear fresh, and feet happy. Set it, forget it, and stop putting on cold, damp boots ever again.

Just buy it already! Perfect for ski equipment and everything else!
I bought this to dry out my son's ski gloves. He has super sweaty hands and after a day of skiing, his gloves were always damp and eventually start to smell. His gloves are WET by the end of the day and after a couple hours on the dryer, they are dry! and NO SMELL!We've used this to also dry damp ski boots, snow boots, basketball shoes and every day tennis shoes. It works phenomenally! The only downside is that the laundry room does stink a little when we run the dryer, but that's probably because my boys' shoes already stuck before.I also looked at other dryers that didn't have a fan, but claimed circulating air would be enough. I got this one on sale and am so glad I went with this version that has both forced air and heat/no heat options. If you have anyone with sweaty gloves or feet, just buy this dryer! It's decently quiet and I love that you can set the timer and walk away.
