simple to replace should have done it sooner
It had been over 10 years since our system was installed. I shake the filter out into a trash bag at least once a month, but realized it is getting worse and worse. Easy to order and replace. Should have done it sooner.

According to the description it should have fit my model 199J. I waited 6 WEEKS even though it said it would ship within a few weeks. When it arrives it’s too small. I had to ship it back. A waste of fine and effort

Doesn’t fit
There’s a tight fit then there’s an out of tolerance fit. Even after taking the unit off the wall, and “walking” the ring around several times it would never snap into place. Waste of $74
