Needs fans on both sides, works wonderfully, zero clogs in hundreds of hours
3D printed a custom mount for my Makerbot Replicator 2 that fits this extruder + 2 40mm fans. So far after 6 months of constant use, I have had zero issues with the extruder itself. I'm able to print each color at 100% with no backfeeding, or any combination of the two colors with no clogging. I use Voxelizer 2 Experimental with custom head definitions to allow gradients / multi material prints.Biggest pain point would be that the bowden connections are not replaceable, and it's actually very difficult to get the tubes out of the extruder assembly. This was really only an issue on first install. Sometimes I'll need to pull filament out by hand, and just disconnect from filament intake side. With good cooling, there have been no clogs.

caution
you will need to print an adapter to mount it, and the 4 bolts for the fan are too long. It doesn't come with a silicone boot to avoid thermal runaway protection trigged by the part cooling fan. i haven't been able to successfully print with this hotend after about 25 hours of maintenance, the lack of the silicone boot is making it throw thermal errors even after constant adjustment and PID tuning, its now going in the trash.

One of the worst products I've ever used.
This is one of the worst products I have ever used in my life. I had a single successful print before clogging that was so severe, I could not undo it. Both ends are jammed. I had hoped to dissassemble it, only to learn the nozzle is glue in place and can never be removed.

I'm ordering another for my other printer!
This hotend can mix 2 colors together. You can start printing in blue, fade into purple, then fade into red. Or just print in 2 different colors. Awesome hotend!!!

Hard to disassemble after clog
It does mix as expected. But, the ptfe tubes were hard to insert, I though they were all the way to the nozzle and that resulted in clogs on both ends. The heatthroats are sealed with glue, and I don't know how to remove this nozzle.

A chance to clog.
I spent two whole weeks trying to get a two color printed object out of this printhead. Alas, it constantly filament jamed. I took it fully apart so many times to fully clean it out. I ran cleaning filament through it. In the end, sadly nothing helped. Just say no to this one.
