Nike Men's Air Monarch IV Training/Workout Shoes

Ice looks and great shoes!

Needed an all black shoe to replace a pair of Monarchs, these are perfect. Run in standard Nike sizing, one size small, but fit well and are leather all over and not fake suede or plastic.

Bought wide version. Fits. Strong support for gym workout.

The Air Monarch has been a good shoe for me for a long time -- not perfect, but better than most. I can wear these because they are avail in the 4E width -- most everything else is too tight in the toe compartment. These lace up nicely, provide good support for a low-top shoe, & fit my foot well enough to be fairly comfortable. Unfortunately, like some of the other reviews state, some of these shoes SQUEAK. I have 3 of these latest "IV Versions", & one pair squeaks from the left shoe when I walk. OK, I'll use that one for doing yardwork -- the squirrels won't mind. These shoes are WAAAY overpriced, so I shop them down as best I can. I just hope that the soles do NOT come UNglued long before the shoe has been worn much, like 2 other pairs did a few years ago -- yeah, now they have Adhesives that are programmed to fail after a few years, forcing you to buy another pair -- "Planned Obsolescence".

Its very comfortable but the rumors are true, it makes a squeaky noise, but if you loose it up a little, it wont make the squeaky noise.

Nothing like a fresh/new pair of sneakers. This is my second pair of Air Monarchs. Yes, after time they do start to squeak. Easy remedy…remove the inner sole and apply baby powder. Squeak stops. First pair is still in great condition (bought them 3-4 years ago). Great value and a great shoe. Highly recommend

Shoes are great, exactly what I expect in Nike quality and fit. Took a star off because it was delivered in just the shoe box. I was shocked it wasn’t taken from my porch!
