Vitoronix Bread Blade
Bread baking has been a fun learning experience. Having said that, I was using a conventional bread knife I have had for over 50 yrs. It is a good knife. However...the knife with the OFFSET HANDLE is so much easier to use. This knife is reasonably priced, has a good solid blade (I read reviews on some blades which tend to bend)...this blade cuts through an artisan loaf with an issue. If I wanted to gift one, I would choose this knife !

Offset handle facilitates bread slicing and the larger handle better control.
Knife worked as advertised with efficient slicing of crusty sourdough bread. The knife was easy to control resulting in even thickness of slice.

Victorinox is the only brand of kitchen knives I buy. The quality of this knife is not up to their normal standards. The materials, plating, and finish seems suspect, It appears to be a knife of lesser quality. I'm not sure this is not a counterfeit product.it seems to be at

This thing is awesome (and I hardly ever use that word). Clean cuts through BLTs and ham & swiss grilled sandwiches. I need to start eating more sandwiches so I have more opportunities to use it.
