Worth every penny. We use ours several times a week. Will last you years!
We've loved this pasta strainer so much that we've actually ordered it as a gift for others. The one we bought is now at least 4 years old and it's as functional now as it was when it was new. It's a perfect sized to easily cook an entire box of pasta (any variety) and it is very well constructed and durable. The handles don't heat up at all, so there's no need to use oven mitts etc. It's nonstick surface works like a charm, has not worn off at all, and I've used this to make batches of soup, chili, boil potatoes and more, always without a problem. It heats up quickly and is very conductive. The lid fits perfectly, but comes off without much effort and the entire set up is dishwasher safe!I absolutely recommend this product, particularly if you can get it for under thirty dollars. If you're on the fence on this product, definitely buy it. You won't at all be disappointed.

“A Stylish and Functional Cookware Set for Everyday Cooking”
I recently got my hands on the Bialetti Taste of Italy Nonstick 10-Piece Cookware Set, and it’s quickly become a staple in my kitchen. This set promises Italian-inspired design with practical performance, and for the most part, it delivers—perfect for home cooks who want quality without overcomplicating things.Quality and Build: The first thing you notice is the sleek, modern look—matte black finish with a subtle texture that feels upscale. The pans are lightweight yet sturdy, made from aluminum with a solid nonstick coating inside. The handles are comfy and stay cool during use, which is a big plus for stovetop maneuvering. The glass lids fit snugly and let you peek at your food without lifting, though they’re not as heavy-duty as some premium brands. Overall, it’s a well-crafted set that feels good to use.Performance: The nonstick surface is a winner—eggs slide off with zero effort, and sautéing veggies or searing chicken has been a breeze with minimal oil. Heat distribution is impressively even; I’ve had no hot spots on my gas stove, and everything cooks consistently. The set includes a nice variety—8” and 10” fry pans, 1.5qt and 2.5qt saucepans, a 5qt Dutch oven, plus a bonus 10” sauté pan—all with lids where it counts. Cleanup is as easy as advertised; a quick wipe or light scrub does the trick, though I’d avoid dishwashers to preserve the coating.Value for Money: For a 10-piece set at this price, it’s a fantastic deal. You’re getting versatile sizes and a cohesive look that rivals pricier brands like Calphalon or T-fal, but without the hefty tag. It’s not pro-chef grade, but for everyday meals—think pasta, stir-fries, or soups—it’s more than up to the task. The bonus sauté pan feels like a thoughtful extra that adds real utility.Minor Notes: The nonstick coating is great but feels like it’ll need gentle care—no metal utensils or high heat abuse if you want it to last. The lids can get steamy without a vent, so expect some condensation buildup during long simmers. Also, it’s marketed as “Taste of Italy,” but don’t expect artisanal vibes—it’s more about style than heritage. Check compatibility if you’ve got induction; this set works best on gas or electric.Overall: The Bialetti Taste of Italy set is a practical, eye-catching addition to any kitchen. It’s not flawless, but it nails the basics with flair and affordability. Whether you’re a beginner cook or just need a reliable refresh, this set brings solid performance and a touch of class to the table. 5 stars for balancing quality, price, and style!

Beautiful, Useful, and a Quality Stainless Steel Pot
I’ve owned this stainless steel cook pot and used it frequently for more than a year now. It works great, easy to clean and is a quality item. Then “dent” some reviewers complain about is actually a stop for the lid to keep it from turning past where it should. This is my go to pot for any pasta and many other items. I would definitely buy it again.

Not the highest quality pasta pot but the most functional for me
My boyfriend purchased this exact pasta pot in red at a local sale for only ten dollars and I was so jealous. I knew all its quirks and had tried other pasta pots before including cooking with his. However, even though this is not high end, it is the most functional pasta pot I have ever had the pleasure to use.I purchased this on Amazon at the current price of $34.99 plus tax, which is competitively priced. Below are the positives and negatives.POSITIVES- The pot is lightweight and non-stick.- The handles and oblong shape keep the hot water and steam away from my hands. I do not even need a potholder to dump the water.- Pasta can be drained directly from the pot.- There is a slight lip or pour spout on either side that allows water to be drained from the front of the rippled lid and from the lid holes.- The oblong shape allows me to put in linguine and other long pasta into the pot whole. Some pastas may be cut longer. In that case, the pasta will sit mostly in the water to start and then immediately cook down and fall into the pot.- Heat resistant silicone or wooden utensils can be used to stir the pasta.- It comes with a 5-year warranty from manufacturing defects.NEGATIVES- The top is a bit difficult to get on and off.- The top also doesn't always sit even with the rim of the pot unless one forces it closed with strength, like I did in my photo on the stove.- This pot is not high-end and may dent and scratch easily. Although I prefer stainless steel, it is not non-stick and those pots tend to get hot. Bialetti does make this pot in stainless steel but I prefer this one.- Metal or other sharp utensils cannot be used to stir the pasta water--only heat-resistant silicone and wooden implements should be used.In summary, I love this pasta pot. Although, I personally prefer high-end pots and pans like All-Clad, Caraway, or Demeyere, none of the stainless steel draining lid pasta pots like this one are as functional (and safe for me) as this low-end Bialetti. It is a solid 4-star pot and perfect for my needs. I also love the teal color as it matches my kitchen.

Works well. Just be careful to make sure lid is secured before straining.
