Quite and warm
I was able to buy two in a group. I have one in my bedroom and it warms the room quite well. I have the other in my living room where it's more of an open area. It puts out alot of heat. My animals love it.

Liked it so much I bought another one!
Jan 4, 2019 - Just a quick update to say my heaters are still going strong 4 years later. That includes heavy usage and even the occasional 1 to 2 foot crash to the carpeted floor when I've accidentally knocked them off the raised surfaces I keep them on.I bought one of these 2 years ago from a box store, then another one more recently from Amazon. I have used them both with great heating results and no issues what-so-ever*. I live in an old, drafty house, and one of the heaters has been the sole source of heat in my 10'x14' bedroom for the past 2 years. The other heater is in my computer room that opens into my living room. The house heating unit is in the living room (I don't have central heat), and that room heats up fine, but on colder days/nights the adjacent computer room dips down in the lower 60's. So I use one of these heaters as a supplement and it manages to raise the temp to at least 70 degrees, sometimes more depending on how hard the wind's blowing. None of the other many heaters I tried have come close to working as well as this particular Lasko model has.*I don't really consider this an issue - not in the mechanical sense at least - but as with any heater, it does cycle off and on during use, creating a sort of clicking sound. It's loud enough that it might be disruptive while trying to drift off to sleep in a quiet room. My sleep mate machine masks the sound well enough that it doesn't bother me.

Excellent heat output but poor design
After over a decade and thousands of hours of use, my old Lasko space heater gave up the ghost. I would've given a five-star review, but it lost a star for the poor design. The top of the heater slopes down while the inside of grip hole on the back also slants down making it IMPOSSIBLE to grab with one hand without it slipping out of your hand and falling face down on the floor. How the heck was this overlooked?????? Why even bother to put a finger hole in the back if your hand is going to slide right out? I have some adhesive textured grip tape and an adhesive handle coming that I hope will fix this. Other than that-- it cranks heat and the control panel/remote is super easy to use.

Great Heater - I did my research..
Pretty good heater here, best for the money I think. I bought this because it had oscillation and a digital temp control. My heater's thermostat is off by 3 degrees (high) but not a biggie, close enough. I use this to heat my 6 month old's room during the winter. I set it at 68F (which is really 65F) and it keeps the room anywhere from 64F to 68F. This heater works on a range scale, meaning it will always stay within 3 or 4 degrees of your set temperature high or low. It will NOT keep the room exactly at the temp you set it, that would be inefficient operation so this was designed with range in mind. The low heat function doesn't have temp control so I haven't found a use for that. Its relatively quiet and doesn't bother my infant which is nice. I can set it and forget it with confidence. Great product through a couple months of use.

Dependable brand
Just received this item. It was easy to set up and takes the chill away in the evenings. Perfect size also. Lasko has been a brand I have trusted for years.

Very good heater for our needs
We bought this as a backup heater for winter storage of a travel trailer and for use on the road at trailer camp sites that have power. It is working very well so far and I would recommend it to others.I particularly like the dual heat feature. It uses the full 1500 watt heat to bring the room up to temp and then backs off to a lower wattage to hold the temp at the setting you pick. It oscillates to spread the heat, and we have found it to be very quiet. I have not need to use the remote much yet but it seems to work well in the confines of the trailer. I would recommend this to others.
