Easy install

Had tried other grill lights with batteries but was a hassle changing them. USB charging with this is perfect solution. The size is also unobtrusive and gives you room to actually use the grills handle. Great buy!

when I open my Camacho Junior grill and the flames her up, it burns the light, so I’m not sure if I’m putting it in the right place or not. But it does light up the grill at night for now.

First time using this light with a Kamado Joe and it melted. Not good.

Update: Downgraded to two stars. The battery swelled breaking the unit apart (I wouldn’t plug it in to recharge it in this state anyway). Either it couldn’t take the heat of being on the handle of the grill or staying outside. Either way, that’s what it was supposed to be designed for so I can’t recommend this anymore.Fits just fine over the Big Green Egg handle. It’s a great solution to cooking at night since the green egg lid blocks the light from my house. I’ve had it for several months and I’m still on the initial charge.

Light is bright enough but the “stem” that connects to the grill handle is too short and when the grill cover is open, the edge of the grill lid/cover blocks the light.
