Excellent for use as Oven gloves
Excellent product. Don'ttry to use when wet as if they are gloves, they get very slippery but are wonderful for oven use.

Game changing gloves
If you enjoy cooking, grilling BBQ or smoking, you need these gloves. Durable, washable and comfortable, they can easily protect your hands at 450 F. An unexpected but great feature is how grippy they are.

Necessary for handling a hot Dutch oven
These work wonderfully. Sizing was perfect for me

Pretty good
Excellent product, but the material is lacking grip. Great for getting hot foods but not easy to grip a cooked chicken or turkey.

Great gloves
One of my favorite products. I love being able to grab anything from the oven or cooking with hot oil and never getting burned. It's great to protect your hands and to have use of your fingers. Love these gloves. Super easy to use and grip items with. Good value for the money and functional.

Nice purchase
I was pleasantly surprised when I got these. They are nice, thick and very soft inside. You don’t feel any heat on your hands when taking out your bakeware out of the oven. I primarily bought them for taking my Dutch oven out of the oven as you can still feel the heat on your hand with regular pot handles. Love the color too.

If you want a better glove you will have to invent one....
As a long time home chef/baker/griller and smoker of meats I have tried every sort of thing to protect my hands and the food. All cotton towels, welders gloves, silicon (stiff) gloves and even M-Aramid fiber (Nomex & Kevlar) gloves, I have used then all. Guess what? A little wet or a little oil leads to BIG burns...the stiff silicon handles wet ok but is never thick enough to fully protect without becoming less useful than a floppy tongs set. So.... question...can you pick up a roast turkey with your welding gloves and then carve and serve that turkey? nope. Can you pick up a boiled chicken out of the stock pot with a cotton towel or Aramid gloves ? nope. I no longer have to look for "pot holders" or handles for my cast iron pans or cocottes. I can pull loaves out of the oven "thump" check and replace or remove as needed. Wet or dry these gloves work fine. They are like fat mushy gloves, easy to clean, ok for dexterity. They ARE NOT heatproof, the heat is kinda transmitted throughout the glove and not to your hand inside. What I mean to say is if you took your bare hand and touched the outside off the glove it could be burned. Heats got to go somewhere. Heat stays towards the outside as it dissipates so take care removing the gloves. Will your hands feel heat inside the gloves?...yup. 400 degrees feels like washing hands in warm water temps or so. Bottom line:PROS; flexible enough, waterproof, easy to clean, safeCONS; not magically thin, good till 500 degrees barelyHope this helps..

LOVE
These are AWESOME, a literal lifesaver. I've been baking sourdough for 2 yrs now and have been on a constant search for oven mitts that can withstand 500+ degrees. These are so heavy duty, thoughtfully designed, and practical. I was hesitant at first due to the price, but in retrospect, I wish I had tried them sooner. If you've been thinking about getting a pair, I can only encourage you to go for it! More than worth the price!
