Great Axe
Great axe for the money. Only issue= no sheath! I took 4 emails to get them to send me the sheath.

Very impressive
I was a little hesitant, because it is so inexpensive. But it's a quality axe. So far it has been very durable, and has stayed sharp. It's a beast

Broke on second day of use
Axe has a nice feel, big swings, really nice bite to it. Did just fine chopping firewood and cut down a smaller tree. I don't know how to contact you directly. Can you send a replacement, or is it refund only? I need to have a reliable axe where I live and this one had a good feel to it. Hopefully it was just a one off manufacturer defect. Thanks.

Nice for the Price
A nice maul, does the job, steel seems of good quality. I haven't managed to put any dings in the edge yet. My only issue is the rubbery handle doesn't let you slide your hand down during your swing. If you are using the "lift and drop" method, this works fine. Don't expect to swing it like an axe. I have split probably a cord of wood with this, and if you make an accurate strike it's almost a 100% on splitting the log on swing one. Your results may vary.

If you're not a giant man baby you need this maul
POW! BOOM! SPLAT! And whatever other 60s Batman verbs you can think of. This maul handles it all from knotty pieces to 3ft 3/4 dry rounds. Sturdy construction transfers every ounce of power through the wood. Half the price and double the WHAM. If you buy this maul and can't get through every piece of wood you throw at it you're doing it wrong.

not for the weakling. But does a wonderful job splitting the red oak I have.
I love it all the way.

A swing and a hit and a split
She splits like a champ. For the price, quality and functionality, well worth the buy! As long as you can lift it above your head and then let the weight of the axe do the rest of the work.

Heavy maul, dull blade
Very heavy maul, but was not sharp. Would not chop wood out of the box. I needed to use a grinder to sharpen it a bit and now it seems to be cutting fine.
