Interesting ending
Another enjoyable book!I really love Galin. He is caring, strong, and willing to make sacrifices to help Ali. Ali has shown her strength even when her own people throw her into being a traitor. She wants nothing more than save her people and in this book we see all she will do just for that. The ending went in a direction I wasn't expecting so I am curious to see what is to come for both Galin and Ali. I would be lying if I said I didn't care if it was a HEA but I need that.

Great read
This next installment was gritty and filled with fighting and revenge. When Ava is sent back to her people she is dubbed a traitor and sent to the mines. She labor’s all day with little food and no comforts. She’s determined that she will live and exact her revenge on Galin the one who banished her people to live underground. She was told that a letter was sent telling of her treacherous actions and she knew it was from him. She still thinks of her lich as her once was but now he’s golden his eyes his hair is like spun gold but she has to harden her heartGalin has no choice but to do the binding of his father the crown put on his head has sealed his fate but not his determination to get back Ali and have her in his arms. Galin is dangerous and his family knows this but he’s spell bound not to kill them if he tries his head nearly splits open from the pain he knows Ali has no idea that he’s a different man since meeting her with his brutal past of being the most deadly warrior has dimmed but he will use it at every opportunity. He still is a very powerful sorcerer and he’s working tirelessly for a spell to break the binding of his crown. Galin is a sexy and smooth with a fierce mind and will stop at nothing to get Ali back. The two collide with the winnowing and the fighting will definitely decide who the winners and losers are when failure is not an option!

Must read!
I love when stories have different points of view, and being able to read from both Ali and Galin’s point of view is perfect! So much happens, and that ending! I am excited to see how they are able to resolve it in the next book!

Wow
See, I knew I was hooked on the first book, but this is something else. I was really scared to start this book because the way the first one ended had me worried that what I wanted to happen would not happen. But then PLOT. TWISTS. Nothing I expected to happen fell through. It was just plot twist after shocking plot twist. I liked Galin a lot more in this book, not to say that I didn’t like him in the last one, but there’s definitely personality differences between him and Marroc that become more obvious. I like them both in different ways, but when Galin was revealed in the last book, I did become concerned with some of the actions he immediately took. This book has a lot more explanation and back ground, plus I also came into this having already read the extra content, which was EVEN MORE back ground. If you haven’t read the extra content before reading this book, I think it does put a lot more things into perspective. The ending here made me very hopeful for the last in the series, but after all these plot twists I’m also scared that I’m lying to myself that things will just lay out how I want them to again. I’m excited to read it and find out for myself.

Good read
I enjoyed reading this book I like how we get both perspectives, Ali and Galin. It’s sad how Ali is constantly let down by her ppl not believing in her m. It will be interesting to see what happens in the third book.

Phenomenal
I could not put the book down. After finishing the first, I read the second book in just one day. I am not a critic but I thoroughly enjoyed the first and second in the series.

A really enjoyable and fun to read sequel
I decided to read this book right after finishing Curse Prince. Now, I enjoyed reading both books but I liked this one slightly less than the first book.I started off a bit confused because Aly hated Marrocwithout any explanation. It is explained a bit later on but it was still very confusing going from the end of the first book and they seem to be on the same page and are going to figure out a way to find the other and work together to free the Night Elves. Due to some events at the end of the first book Marrocis trapped working for the High Elves and can’t free himself from the magic keeping him there. And Aly doesn’t trust him anymore because of something that happened between the two books that is revealed in the book.I am glad that it wasn’t easy or a straight line for them to get back together again. Aly doesn’t trust him and wants to kill him again, which makes for some funny situations when they are finally reunited.I liked that this book went further into the conflict between the Night and High Elves and why they hate each other so much. As well as going into why the Night Elves want to be free from underground. I also liked that the Vanir were also in this book again and that they also participated in the battles/trials in the competition that began between the Night and High Elves.I liked that there were some parts from the first book that I feared wouldn’t be addressed in this book that were. Like the deal that was made in Hel between Marroc and the shades. Also that turned out very differently than I thought it would.Actually this book ended differently than I thought it would to be honest.I’m definitely looking forward to the the next book in this series.

Elves fighting for power, survival and just to exist.
Holy cats, I don't think there are words to describe this book. I loved it, the main characters managed to capture my heart all over again. My emotions whilst reading this were all over the place, between laughing and sobbing to completely swooning then angry. It felt like an emotional roller-coaster, but omg I was devastated when I finished. It ended with a cliffhanger that left me desperate for the next book, I can't wait until it's released.

Ruined king (night elves 2)
Twists and turns right from the start, devious plots to grab power by whatever means necessary, mad kings in power, desperate people wanting to escape from being brow beaten and starved & two star crossed lovers who can't admit their feelings without everything imploding and exploding.Really good storyline carrying on seamlessly from the previous book, great series, can't wait for the next book.

The
Story is actually very good but it's a little bit long winded. I think it would make a really good fantasy series. Don't get many of those now.
