Great item and recommend for go bag, camping, food storage, etc. Tastes good. Plenty for family. Plenty of shelf life. Just need water and container. If you have a way of heating water even better.

I haven’t tried anything yet, but a friend said they taste good. I bought it for my emergency go bag. According to the packaging the portion size should be plenty. I love the 20plus shelf life.

Individual packages don’t come with directions, so don’t lose the one they provide. Directions are for entire contents of package so be prepared to divide/measure. Overall pretty good.

I am unsure how long this will keep for honestly. It’s a nice kit with seemingly good recipes but, it is REALLY HEAVY for food that is supposed to keep long term. Honestly you could carry canned items and it would be lighter. The packing is not well done. I can put together Mylar bags with better quality and dehydrate my own stuff. I honestly might send this back. I bought it for my bugout bag so I would have easy ready to eat meals for a few days if needed to save on cost compared to mountain house and to offer a little variety, but seriously, this is so heavy and bulky, not well packaged. I should have listened to the reviews for this particular kit!
