1. This product is for monitoring tire pressure: if the pressure of tire is 10% less than required, the tire pressure indicator will show red, otherwise it will show normal which is green. Each monitor is calibrated to the specified PSI, if your tire is under inflated, it will not show green. For example, if your recommended tire pressure is 40psi, then you should purchase our PSI 40 monitor caps. If your current tire pressure is under-inflated, when you install our monitor cap onto your tire, the cap will not show full green. (It doesn't check your tire over inflated) 2. Chrome Plated Brass 3. Patented, designed, assembled and tested in the USA. 4. The monitors are available in chrome (plated brass valve body) to complement any wheel and fits passenger vehicles, SUV's, trucks, trailers, motorcycles, ATV's, RV's, commercial vehicles, and bicycles. 5. After installation, please drive 10 miles or more to activate the monitors. 6. Motorcycles and bicycles: Please check for proper clearance between monitor and brake system.

When working properly these are great ~ Unfortunately, one of the four I received was defective & leaked air
I can understand both the pros and the cons to these tire pressure monitors. When installed and working properly, they perform as advertised and provide vital feedback about your tire pressure. Unfortunately, the set that I received included one defective valve cover. After reading the installation instructions both on the package and online, I meticulously installed these on my car. Prior to doing so, I added precisely 38 pounds of air to each cold tire. As per the instructions, I cleaned the tire valve stems, made sure that the o-rings were properly seated flatly in the valves, than hand tightened each valve cover. As expected, when tightening the valve covers, a small amount of air was released from each tire. Also, as expected, each valve displayed green, meaning that the tire pressure was good.Next, I sprayed a leak detection solution onto each valve. Soapy water would work just as well. Knowing that I had installed the valves exactly as instructed, I was certain that no leaks would be found. Unfortunately, I was wrong. The first two tires were fine, but when I inspected the third one, air bubbles were noticeably leaking from the new valve cover. The fourth one had no leaks.Since the instructions clearly state that the valve covers should be hand tightened only, I was extremely careful doing this step. Thinking that I may have not used enough force when installing them, I tightened the leaking one as much as I could, but once again, just by hand. The result was the same, air continued to leak out.Since I didn't want to waste my time returning these to Amazon, I decided to remove them from my tires and throw them in the trash. As far as I was concerned, they served little purpose unless all four of them worked. I also figured that if one failed the leak test, the others might do the same at a later date. I purchased these for peace of mind, but I got just the opposite. When I removed the valves from the tires, I discovered that three of the o-ring seals were intact. Unfortunately, the o-ring on the leaking valve cover had been torn apart, despite my having checked it beforehand, and installing it correctly. I ended up putting the old valve covers back on the tires, and will simply check the pressure on a regular basis. The bottom line is that these tire pressure monitors have the potential to work well, but they also have the potential to fail miserably. Since the package that I received contained one defective valve cover, I can only assume that it's a hit or miss with this product. I wanted these to work, and I wanted to give them 5 stars, but unfortunately it didn't work out that way. Based on my experience, I would not recommend purchasing this product.

don't wast your money. they don't work. tire pressure fell 11psi below the the rated pressure of the cap. they simply dont work.
they simply don't work. when you unscrew them the color changes from green to yellow to red as expected.these are 38psi rated. my tires are also connected to the onboard computer system so i can read read thepressure from the dashboard display. my left rear tire was reading 27psi from the dash while the cap was stillshowing green.11psi below the rated pressure of the cap should trigger the cap to show low pressure. it doesnot. i know the built in monitor may be redundant, but i like the idea of being out of the car and seeing the levelat a quick glance. they simply don't work. don't wast your money. maybe others work better, but these don't.save your money.

Not thrilled, but they do work.
I have used Victor tire pressure monitors on other vehicles. I could not find, locally, any that had the required 38 pound capacity for my current car, so I ordered these Quick Pressure brand monitors. These are the least attractive of the ones I've used so far and they do not screw onto the valve stem very far at all (stick out well beyond the wheel). The chrome looks of low quality and I have my doubts about how long it will last. The red/green indicator is harder to see (but still visible enough) than the Victor ones. Also, the price was almost double what I have paid for the Victor brand.Bottom line is that these Quick Pressure monitors do what the manufacturer says they would and the pressure reading appears to be accurate. However, I would not buy them again for the reasons above.

These gauges do not show low tire pressure as indicated.
I used these on my 38 psi tires for about 5 weeks. All the gauges have stayed in the green. Had my car serviced yesterday, all 4 tires were at 30 psi! Took rhem off immediately. Seems no recourse because out of return time. Do not use these!

This set is working well. I had one before that I had some problems with. Make sure you tighten the caps well or they will deflate your tire over time.

Well made, but consider whole fit to your wheels.
Does everything it says it will. But, like all such designs the cap has to be pressurized by the car tire so the pressure seal becomes the seat between this product and the outer rim of the valve body. There is the potential that fitting this unit would cause a slow leak if the valve body were rough or damaged. On my Volvo V70 the design of the wheel is such that 75% of this product extends beyond the plane of the wheel. A close encounter with a curb might (would?) damage the product and perhaps the valve body causing a tire deflation. But, for what it is this unit seems well made and does the job. Just consider the fit to your wheel and whether an extra 1" of assembley beyond the valve body would protrude beyond the plane of the wheel and plan accordingly.
