This was a nice mixture of snakes. Most don't really look like real snakes, but they are fun. They are solid and hold up well.

I bought these for my 6-year-old's Indiana Jones themed birthday. We hid them in the sandbox and all over the play areas. The kids loved them. The smell wasn't bad when we first opened them, and any residual odor off-gassed quickly outside. They still smell like rubber if you sniff closely it but it's not offensive.It's now a couple months later and the color and material are both holding up great despite frequent play.Some of the smaller ones are more gimmicky than usable but they're still fun for the kids so if anything I wish there were fewer of those and more of the bigger ones. Other than that I think this is a solid value especially if you plan on keeping them around.

If you are buying these for a toy or as some sort of decoration, I would definitely recommend. Just be warned they do have a slightly odd smell. Some of the snakes were stuck to themselves or each other and I had to rip them apart, but this didn’t cause any damage to them so not really a real problem as long as you’re careful.I bought these to make a snake crown for a Halloween costume and the spray paint and hot glue would not stick to the problem effectively. The glue and paint kept “melting” off and it ended up being problematic. Still looked halfway decent at the end, but will have to tear apart the project and redo next year.

Used these for my Medusa costume and while I spray painted them a wee bit too thick, they were great! I love the variation of sizes this package came with and not all of them are stretchy rubber (some are not bendable). Beware if you too want to portray Medusa, I would not advise spray painting these rubber ones as they WILL crack/break. But these still worked fine.

The media could not be loaded. The large ones were packaged together and all stuck together. Had to carefully pry them apart which caused some flaking. It looks like they were in that position a very long time that most snakes are kinked up and twisted around. The rubber ones have a strong smell so air them out before letting the kids play. The small ones are plastic.

Used them for my garden and it kept pests away.

Got these to sprinkle into my garden as psychological warfare against neighborhood cats. The cats were using my raised garden beds as a litter box. Put a few of these in there and they all but stopped. A few brave cats seem to think these are toys and come and slap them. Most of them see them as real snakes and get spooked fast.

I wouldn’t recommend this brand.
