Whiplash (2 DISCS - 4k Ultra-HD & BD) [Blu-ray] [2020]

The first of Damien Chazelle's love letters to Jazz is in this movie. Definitely a much more raw presentation than the later, sweeter attempt that La La Land is. Everyone is in top form here, Miles Teller and J.K.Simmons are fabulous together, and Simmons gets a very deserved academy award for his role. Amazing film! Seriously it’s one of those weird ones that grip you from start to finish but your not quite sure why. 4K transfer is outstanding but the star of the show is the soundtrack! You can almost feel every beat of the symbol :) Brilliant ...now a Jazz music convert!
