Tamiya Nissan 300zx Turbo 1/24 Scale Model Kit 24087

This was a blast to put together! I've done an AMT, Revell, and now this Tamiya. The instructions were great and the pieces were beautifully molded! I really enjoyed this build. It is only the 3rd model car that I've made, but it was pretty simple. Painting some of the interior was tricky, especially the glass portion. The one thing I struggled with at first was the somewhat-confusing paint scheme until I realized that Tamiya brand paints have the code on them. Then I thought it was really easy! But I have mostly Testors with a couple of Tamiya stragglers. Will be buying more Tamiya models!

Me and my now husband had so much fun putting this together as our cake topper! It came with everything we needed except paint and clippers. But it was a lot easier to put together than I thought it would be!

Tamiya models are always of high quality and great and accurate detail. I haven't built this one yet but I have plenty of experience with Tamiya model kits. I will be building this one on my Youtube channel: Dan Does Junk. It will be part of my "DIY Challenge" mini series that I just started this year, the 2nd episode to be exact, so stay tuned.
