My body hurts all the time. Like…all the time. I basically eat, sweat, breathe, walk…..in pain. I’m not sure why, as I’m extremely active and healthy, but whatever. Anyways, my husband bought this for me, and it’s now my emotional and physical support item. I sleep with it EVERY NIGHT, and because it’s weighted, it feels amazing. That sucker gets hot, stays hot, and also won’t burn down my house as it’s on a timer! If I need to pack it, the cord can be packed separately so I can fold it tightly. I’m not a small lady, I’m a big Dutch body builder, and this thing is BIG.I really don’t ever want jewelry or diamonds, I just want my husband to continuously buy THIS for me.

I want to give this 10 stars. This is the first heating pad I've loved since I had to throw away the 1970s one the finally the cord gave out on. First the size, it's a standard extra long size, wish it was a tad bigger and longer but it is fine. Second can we discuss the 12 different temperature settings that actually get past Luke warm....Settings start at 104f and increases until it reaches 144f, I stay between 115, 118 to 126. When I say this thing gets hot I mean It gets hot. The 2 hour auto off has a button to increase the time by 30min increments up to 2 hours. This would be perfect for farm use too keep those babies warm or eggs about to hatch.

I bought this as one of my husband's Father's Day gifts. "How nice", he said. Later that evening, he put it around his shoulder with cords hanging, and said, "yes, really nice". I think once he plugs it in I might hear more about how delighted he is with his -Heated- shoulder pad.

We are very pleased with this heating pad. It’s big enough to cover the area, even if he moves and it keeps him comfortable and the cords long enough to reach multiple spots in bed and in his chair, a win-win for us.

I have a bad back thanks to a long history of scoliosis and spinal reconstruction surgery as a teen. Daily pain has been a norm for me for most of my life, and grows worse the older that I get. The point being that by afternoon and early evening my back and neck are a wreck with pain, stiffness and seizing muscles. Pain killers like Advil and Tylenol give little not no relief, but heat does. Hot showers followed by leaning propped up on pillows against a heating pad.I got this pad due to a need to be able to cover as much of my back and neck as possible for maximum relief. I'm shorter - just shy of 5 feet, so this is able to cover from the back of my head to my butt, but broad shoulders and slightly on the larger size. It is able to cover me completely but I wish it was just a few inches wider because when I shift around on the bed I have to reposition and move the pad with me. Not a major issue, just a little difficult because its between me and the pillows.Pros:- Larger size will cover most body parts, particularly if you are on the smaller to average size.- There is a large range of temperatures settings. 10 total, with specific temperatures corresponding to each level. It maxes out at 140 (boiling hot for most people, but just hot enough for me. I wouldn't mind going a little hotter) and each level jumps up or down by 5 degrees- Different time settings available ranging from half and hour to two hours- Easy to read digital read out with simplified buttons and back light to be able to see even if making adjustments in little lighting. The read out is large as well making it easy to see even with poorer vision- Cute colors - I chose red and love the color. Its nice to have cuter options- Very soft material. Not exactly what I would call plush but pleasant to the touch even on bare skin- The heat coils are are centered evenly so it do not matter which side you make contact with. Very convenient because you get the same results with out have to wrestle to be on the good side if your plug is on the opposite sideCons:- There is not option to turn off the automatic off. My previous heating pad was smaller, leading me to get this one, but did have the option to turn off the automatic off. I know its a safety feature, but can be annoying for people like me who end up spending hours on end needing to use it continuously.- The dye on coloring the pad bleeds. It has bled onto my pillows and sheets. I have not yet tried to wash them so I do not know if it stains but if this is important I recommend picking a color to closely match the color of your linens or placing a towel down to protect your linens.Over all, I would purchase again and have even considered it to have an extra to take around the house, unless I find a similarly built and sized one that does not shut off automatically.

This is exactly what my wife needed. It is a little bulky but that is to be expected. It would be nice if the user could adjust the temp lower then what its lowest is, I believe over 100 degrees.

I love this heating pad! It has 12 levels of heat and it gets very hot on the 12 setting, which is exactly what I need for my neck and shoulder. The weighted edges on the front are a wonderful idea. After I got mine I ordered another one for my husband and he also is very happy with it. I would give this a 10 if that was an option. Absolutely recommend this.

I absolutely love this heating pad. The fabric on both sides is super soft and cozy, and it actually gets hot enough to be effective—unlike many others that stay lukewarm. The built-in 2-hour auto shut-off is perfect; I use it at bedtime under the sheets, and by the time I start overheating (as I tend to do in the middle of the night), it’s already turned off. It helps me fall asleep warm and stay comfortable through the night.That said, I’m removing one star due to a misleading claim: The Amazon listing says this pad is machine-washable, but the actual product tag says “Do not submerge in water” and shows a washing machine with an X—clearly indicating it is not machine-washable (see photo of the tag).Because I use it frequently, I need a way to clean it. Right now, I’m looking for a king-size pillowcase or cover to slip over it so I can keep it hygienic.If you plan on regular cleaning, keep this in mind—it’s a great product, but not washable as advertised.
