I love Aquagear filtered water!
The Aquagear filter seems to last longer than other brands I have used. It is a bit pricier, but I like that they have a water program in a developing country.

Excellent pitcher, rapid water filtration, and highly rated
It's been top rated for removing microplastics and other unpleasant things. (Please do your own research.) I have purchased two of them.Water filters through faster than my former brand, the plastic pitcher is sturdy. It fits well in my refrigerator. The filter is easy to install. And they last for a long time.

Overall Assessment
Water tasted clean. Owned a Zero Water & Brita before - water did not taste as clean with Zero Water. Aquagear seems to perform as claimed - although higher priced than some competitors, I think it is worth the price. You can't put a price on your health & water is so important.

The last water pitcher you will ever need
Really though! I bought mine in 2018 and have been using it ever since. I recently realized that there was a lifetime warranty and I reached out to the company about some damage that had occurred to my lid and they had a new one at my house in about 2 days!In addition to the amazing warranty, they also have a FREE water filter recycling program! If you’re very mindful about your waste like I am it probably drives you nuts that so many water filters have to go in the trash. Well, not anymore! You just email them with your address and the number of filters that you want to recycle and they send you a return label. You just package it up in the packaging that your new filter came in and send it off!And lastly, but also super important, how does it work? Well since I have been using it for so long I recently decided to check and see if it was still performing well against newer models on the market. I was able to access a report done by Consumer Reports that tester Aquagear against many others on the market and it performed very well! In fact Consumer Reports said that it was their #1 pick for removing microplastics, which is super important to me! While it didn’t perform the best on certain tests, when taken overall it still came out amazing since the highest performers on one test might have been the lowest on another or some other filters even added contaminants to the water!Needless to say I am sticking with Aquagear. The water tastes great, it filters fast, the filters last for 6 months, and with the independent testing and life time warranty I can feel confident that my water is clean and I won’t have to buy a new pitcher again!

DO NOT BUY!!!
I purchased this because of its claims to remove fluoride and chlorine from my family's drinking water. I received the pitcher in a timely manner, followed the instructions to flush the filter and I started to use the product as directed. The water was flowing through the filter just as fast as it was filling the reservoir. Right away, I suspected that the filter was not working properly because even the cheapest water filters impede the flow of water as they do their job filtering. The so-called filtered water still smelled like the chlorinated water that comes from my tap. So, as a D-licensed waste water technician, I pulled out my free-chlorine tester kit (not total chlorine, because there is a difference), and the filtered water tested the same as my tap water for free-chlorine. Which means the filter was not working whatsoever. So I e-mailed Aquagear to hopefully get a replacement filter. Was it a same-day response for customer service like they advertise on their paperwork? No. But I received an e-mail from a guy named Shane the next day informing me that he submitted my concerns to people that could help. From there, I waited for a week to hear a solution. Shane then contacted me with a bunch of "specs" defending the Aquagear filter pitcher, and offered to send me another filter. I said yes, and the filter was here the next day...so...in my mind, if the filter worked now as advertised, I would forgive any of this bad experience and waiting and give a 5 star review. The filter worked! It was impeding water, and the free-chlorine tested at ZERO! My family and I were so happy. I had great coffee with this filtered water every morning, and my kids liked it more than bottled water. Almost happily-ever-after. But... it only worked for a week. A filter that boasts a five month life, stopped working after one week after MINIMAL use. No more free-chlorine removal, and the filtered water smells and tastes no different from my tap water. This is not user-error. This is a sub-par non-working product. I e-mailed Shane from Aquagear again to notify him of how adamantly dissatisfied I was...yet it has been 5 days without a response. I am disgusted at this company. AND I WARN EVERYONE, DO NOT BUY THIS THING!!! It doesn't work and they can't make it right, nor do they desire to do so. All that's left for me is to return this filter pitcher and hopefully Amazon will get wise enough to remove this company from their seller's list. A report to the Better Business Bureau is also in the cards. Do not buy!

Better tasting than bottled; better tasting than other pitchers
I've used Aquagear pitchers for several years. Aquagear makes tap water taste better than the bottled water and other water filter pitchers that I have tried. This pitcher also removes forever chemicals and microplastics as well as a long list of other substances. There is a list on their web site.
