Alba Botanica Alba botanica shampoo 12 oz and conditioner 12 oz (coconut milk)

I'm multi-racial and my hair can be very fussy!!! I dated a guy who used this shampoo and conditioner and I'll tell you it's the best thing I got out of that relationship! My hair loves it, and it's great for when I want to wear it curly or straighten it. Keeps it well hydrated and from getting too frizzy, and keeps the kinky element of my hair happy-- this is a good thing because I don't get the cute afro, I get the "electrocuted afro" that looks like I touched one of those electricity balls at a science museum or put my finger in a wall socket. I also use (great but expensive) Mixed Chicks leave in conditioner after, but I am going to try Alba's spray leave in conditioner, too, and I will update this review after. People without such dry/kinky hair probably won't need the addition of a leave in conditioner. Also, I have very sensitive skin and noticed that some other shampoo and conditioners would irritate my skin around my neck and back while I let it set in during my shower. This is a great natural product and I have not had that skin irritation since I started using this. Highly recommended!

If you're looking for lather and a shampoo that takes away you're oils, this isn't for you. This product doesn't have the chemicals most shampoos have that strip your natural oils. Most people don't like or aren't used to that.I haven't used shampoo or conditioner in a year. I only looked into products without the chemicals because the summer heat and hair dye was drying out my hair. I was afraid it would take the natural oils that I want to stay in my hair, but it cleaned without stripping them. The conditioner exceeded my expectations in how soft my hair would be. Neither needs more than a quarter sized drop on breast length hair.I will definitely keep using this product.

I have tried high end to shopping market natural hair care and this stuff ricks! Great price, good quantity (12 oz. vs. the standard 8 oz.), and actually cleans my hair! Doesn't hurt it's rating that it smells AMAZING! I have super long, very fine, thick hair down to my waist. I don't have to use to much of this stuff to cleanse my hair throughly so my bottle lasts ages and my hair is full of movement and super shiny!I've seen some negative reviews on here which made me skeptical in the first place, but I took a shot and am so glad I did! Buy this, buy it now.

I buy this for my 11 yo daughter. She loves it. The rest of us use Wella. But she decided to buy this with her own money one day. She is obsessed. I was surprised that it works so well considering the price. Plus other reviews. She has fine hair. But it does. And we will continue to purchase it from amazon.

I bought this to replace an old conditioner that went bad and started to smell like beer. (same brand & scent)The moment I opened these bottles the spoiled smell ran right up my nose.. The seller needs to store these natural products better.Save your money.. just buy it at the store.

Great product!!! I bleach my hair a lot..and my hair tends to dry out. Used all kinds of shampoos that says moisturizer..heard about this product and love the natural ingredients in it..my first wash I noticed a difference! Hair was soft, shiney and no frizz..will continue to use! Def must for highlight touch up to prevent dry out!

The shampoo is extremely watery but it smells nice and makes my hair feel nice.

Shampoo doesn't lather well. I am using more of it than I should have to. Conditioner is heavy and I don't like the smell. Won't order again.
