Coghlan's Zipper Pulls

I didn't choose star ratings because they all asked questions about "this toy", and didn't make sense when applied to zipper pulls. They are zipper pulls to be attached to any zipper you like. They can be attached with no tools, just your fingers. They worked well for my usage, but they may be too short for someone else, such as on zippers on luggage or on a jacket or snow gear zippers.

I had a great ski jacket that I've been using for years, and it is otherwise very well constructed, but one day I noticed the main zipper pull was gone, and pulling on just that little metal thing was tough with giant gloves. These worked perfectly for me, and I had a couple extra for other jackets I don't use as much that had the same issue (I'm apparently pretty hard on zipper pulls!).

I just read some of the reviews on this product. I am used to the ones I had that were made in two parts that looked and worked well. They keep trying to make things cheaper is one of the problems, but they do work. One could put the string in a vise for the third hand, but you won't need to after learning how they open. I used two of them on a 2014 Corvette to pull up on them to release the seat back to be moved forward & removed the OEM knobs which were too big and in the way of the seat belts. They worked just perfect and I added a little spot of loctite super glue to insure they stayed closed as one can always cut the string and use another new one since they are a cheap item. Squeeze a couple of drop onto the string (cord) and snap shut for any use and they'll stay closed. In my case the cord was just the correct thickness since my slot was fairly big. If you take a lighter and pass over the ends it will also help to harden the ends and help slip into a smaller space. One can also use a nice looking shoelace for the cord that would be smaller.

Amazon had several zipper pulls to choose from, and I am SO GLAD that I chose this one. The zipper on my wallet broke, and it was hard to open it. This zipper pull not only makes it easier, it is about 3 times larger than the original (end of the zipper) -- so it's easy to find the opening to my wallet (when I'm driving, or in a dark place). In the future, I will use the pulls that I didn't use yet on other items that are difficult to open. A true bargain--

Suitcase zipper pulls always seem to get broken off in airports

These are great! I had a couple of used backpacks from my older children that were perfectly fine for my younger kids to take to school except for the zipper pulls (my older kids wanted new backpacks). I couldn't see buying new backpacks for the younger children when all they needed were zipper pulls. I received them and they are very easy to put on and look great, It has saved me alot of money because now I don't have to buy more backpacks than I need!

These zipper pulls are strong and have a good thick feel. They are tricky to open the first time but provide a very secure loop for your zipper that will not come loose.

So I can't use them. I bought 2 packages (8) for hoodies, luggage and backpacks.However the directions on the package says to pull the 2 sides apart from one another then pull the top up.Since it takes 2 hands to pull 2 sides apart, how do you get the other part moved.Does someone at Coghlans have the sense to build a product that doesn't need 2 people to use?(by the way, I did contact Coghlans online to ask for help - NO RESPONSE)A thought for these people; you have plenty of space on your cards for a better explanation on using it, if that exists.Plenty of Zipper Pull choices, go somewhere else.

These zipper pulls fixed the broken off zipper pull on my son’s lunch bag, my winter jacket and my sons jacket. They are a nice size to get your fingers on and pull the zipper. The rope is a little thicker so it only pulls through on medium to larger sized zippers.

Just brilliant for the Zips on my boots. No more struggling with fiddly zip pulls that make the ends of your fingers sore.

Haben Sie schon mal versucht ihre Jacke mit dicken Winterhandschuhe auf- oder zuzumachen? Geht schwer oder? Vor allem für Kinder ein Problem. Diese Verlängerungen werden durch die vorhandenen Ösen des Schlittens des Reißverschlusses gezogen und machen somit die Handhabung um ein vielfaches einfacher, da nun die Hände trotz Handschuhe genügend Griff am Reißverschluss haben.Natürlich auch optimal, wenn der Schlitten schlecht zu erreichen ist (z.B. Kameratasche)

These are great to help when pulling up a zipper. Only wish, is that the string was a little thinner as it was hard to fit through the hole in my zipper.
