Saved me a plumber visit!
Our original vacuum breaker welded itself to our garden hose timer; when we tried to replace the timer after it failed, the breaker came off with it. Of course, the new timer can't screw onto the fine threads and neither can the hose. We were about to call a plumber to replace the entire spigot when we found this.Perfect fit, perfect function, and so much cheaper than having a pro replace the whole thing.

Hard to find part, and works great.
I've been looking for awhile for this part, and this is the right size threads with the right gasket for my outdoor faucet. I didn't have any quality issues, as mentioned in some of the reviews. I just screwed it on, put the hose on, and it doesn't leak any more. The picture on the online site shows four separate parts, as if you would have to assemble it, but mine came fully assembled. I think the problem with the original part was an under-size gasket and a small seating surface. I could adjust the gasket and reinstall the old anti-siphon, but the gasket would move after a few uses. And, no I couldn't find a new gasket (for some reason). This new part is a better design, the gasket is an exact fit.

1 3/16” Fine Thread. Perfect.
My vacuum breaker on my hose bib called it quits after 20 years.I had to remove the old with a pipe wrench, and noticed that it was a solid piece attached below the handle. The threads were fine and I couldn’t find anything locally. I thought I might have to desolder and put a whole new unit on. Found this on Amazon. Just got it. Tried it to make sure it would thread on. Good to go. Took it back off, put 2 double layered wraps of Teflon tape on and reinstalled it by hand (using a towel to get a grip. Bottomed it out, put a pair of channel locks on an gave it a small amount of torque.Turn on the hose bib. No leaks at the joint and vacuum breaker works perfectly.See pics.

Took Forever To Find, But It Works!
If you have a two-part attachment on your outdoor spigot/hose bib, and it sprays water everywhere, this may be what you need. This product matches the threads of the old non-removable part of the breaker, and includes new internal pieces (which was causing the leak). I wish there was an option to just buy replacement internals, because a whole new brass part is just a waste of money. Still, it makes our hose useable again. Images are of the new breaker screwed on to the old adapter, then of the old adapter+old breaker.

It fits a 30-year old waterbib
I accidently destroyed the original water backflow preventer that had corroded onto the garden hose because of the hard water. Finding this preventer here in Hawaii let alone the Big Island is almost impossible or very expensive so I ordered this taking the chance it would fit by eye-balling the dimensions.I’m so happy machined out of solid brass so it’s solid and it fit perfectly.

Gets the job done.
These little, pretty fool proof devices work excellently on non-freezing above ground spigots and if you are required to have back flow prevention and don't have underground irrigation, (and local codes allow it) it sure beats $1K backflow preventer being installed in your line. Do note, though, if you have your hose under pressure when you cut off the faucet, you may get sprayed as the valve releases the warer.

ABP 58 Compatible
I went to a major home repair store and spoke to a service rep who was largely dismissive and unhelpful. I was looking for an adaptor because the fitting for the hose I purchased had too narrow of a diameter for my outdoor spigot. He claimed that all hose bibs are a standard size (3/4" which doesn't at all account for the thread spacing or fitting diameter) and what I was saying didn't make sense. It didn't matter that I brought the old hose that fit previously. -_-Anyway! This review is to save you from some hourly goon who doesn't really care to help. This part is compatible with ABP 58 (Arrowhead Brass and Plumbing) fitting. The inlet (female/larger end) is 1-3/16″ fine-thread and the outlet (male/smaller end) fits a "standard" 3/4" garden hose. I'm not a plumber but hopefully, this helps other non-plumbers.

Proper part for older Arrowhead Brass and Plumbing (ABP Marked) spigots
Worked fine with older antifreeze anti siphon outdoor hose spigot/bib or whatever you call the hose outlet in your area. This has a finer thread on the female side. HD carries a similar item with a coarser thread. Why are there three holes on the spigot anyways but this beats replacing the hose bib in the enclosed ceiling. Works fine. If you want a straight thru fitting without the vacuum lock you can find those also. We don't leave the hose attached and under pressure or above the spigot and off with no house water pressure so not seeing the real need but its fancy.
